After a week of stress with a wisdom tooth that needed extracting I chose this practice as per the level of experience of the orthodontist at this practice...
We went private with this dentist as at the moment there are issues with NHS for tooth extraction and waiting times...are around three months at the worst outset.
You can pay privately and will be booked in very fast. The dentist extracted the wisdom tooth without any issues not leaving any of the tooth in situ painless procedure very happy...with the services.
I have just had an appointment today to have my tooth removed and I wanted to thank the team for their outstanding service.
Before we started they lady that greeted me was very friendly and very informative (a lot better service that I have had else where)
I have had numbing injections before and what is normally an unpleasant procedure was made comfortable with little pain.
Although they had to wrestle the tooth out it was a seemingly easy process with no real pain and finished off with some informative advice.
Although I can’t say I want to come back if I did need to I would be at ease about the process.
All in all i have received excellent service, would recommend to all, anyone fearing going should have peace of mind that this was not an unpleasant procedure.
** reading previous reviews I can’t not agree with rude receptionists, there have been 4 different ladies and all have been friendly and welcoming.
Do not go to this dentist! I had an initial consultation. The dentist was lovely but she had to get the practice manager in as the "problems" I apparently had were beyond her expertise. They said I needed an implant or a denture on 1 of my teeth. They were my only options. (Knowing full well a 28 year old girl would not want a denture so would find the money for an implant which cost £2000) I went to another PRIVATE dentist and they said you can have an implant but you do have other options and we CAN save your tooth without having to pay so much money. Station dental said there was no way we can save it! They said I needed periodontal treatment (another £1500) and 4 of my veneers need replacing asap (another £2000) but they said "they're that bad that if you paid us £10,000 we still wouldn't touch them, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news" what a way to speak to a patient!!! (I'm assuming he would have sorted them and charged me through the roof but probably didn't hold the correct qualifications) They actually made cry and there was no empathy or reassurance there. The private dentist I went to said my veneers are perfectly fine but I may need a couple of hygienist appointments to clean my gums! Talk about ripping someone off! I do not trust this dentist. They scared me into thinking I needed treatment that I didn't need so I would recommend that anyone who gets told they need expensive treatment at this dentist, always get a second opinion!
Went for a wisdom tooth extraction today and was absolutely terrified. They made me feel relaxed and let me cry my eyes out through nervousness before they did the procedure. Didn’t feel a thing, and would 100% go back here for anything after that experience. Thankyou for turning a previous bad experience into a much better one.
Categorically the worst dental practice I've ever had the misfortune to attend. Took my daughter for a filling well before Christmas and she came away with immediate and continuing discomfort. Took her back a couple of weeks later and the dentist said to give it time to heal - what nonsense! Some several months later and my daughter still experiencing constant discomfort, so we book another appointment. Took my daughter in and she was told that she'd have to have the filling redone and to book another appointment. On the way out, the practice tried to charge her for that visit, at which I said we wouldn't pay as it was a return visit for a filling that hadn't worked. As we attempted to leave a voice called out "just a minute pal". Yes, this actually was a member of the practice calling out. He told us, in no uncertain terms, to wait in the waiting room. When he came in I explained that we shouldn't be expected to pay again when they hadn't got the filling right the first time. He said that she wouldn't have to pay for the filling to be redone but should pay for this visit, during which nothing was actually done, as it was an emergency visit. I said I'd never experienced a dental practice where they charged for rework. The upshot was that they decided to waive the £19.90 charge for this ultimately pointless visit but the man that took us aside was the rudest man I've ever spoken to. Shocking customer service and a really poor attitude from all concerned. I've given them one star only because the review wouldn't let me give them none. Beware!
Awful service. Had an dental implant and came off three times. Dentist never care about the complaints of the loose fitting of the crown. Her response is nothing can do wiNow having infection with swallown jaw. Refuse to see the problem just being late for two minutes for the appointment today. But there had been many times that we had waited 10,15 minutes to see her. The girl at the reception with ginger hair is very rude. She needs to learn her customer care skills. Never seen such an unpleasant and rude person.
I don’t often leave reviews but after today i feel compelled to do so!
I have no problem with dental staff they are lovely! but the girl with the ginger hair on reception needs teaching a lesson or 2 about customer service and I think the practice manager should be having a word with her about her customer skills ! Never seen such a depressed face in all my life and I don’t understand how she’s still got a job to be honest! She makes you feel so unwelcome doesn’t give you eye contact when speaking to you! Slapped a clipboard down in front of me and expected me to work it out for my self! She’s so rude and clearly hates her job! Iv looked at other reviews on this practice and majority of the bad ones are about the receptionist! Hopefully the practice manager takes time to look threw these reviews and understand that she is an issue to the practice and needs to be gone!
Repeat private client. In for a broken tooth.
I ended up with Two fillings and I am very pleased with both their stringent Covid precautions as well as the friendly, professional and good humoured Dentist and his staff.
Would recommend and have.
