Great little branch of Starbucks, coffee nice and hot! The bacon sandwich is a bit sad looking, with some pale microwaved bacon. They need to take a leaf out of Greggs book, just over the retail area with superior sandwiches.
Good to note they offer Defence Discount / Blue Light Card
Staff are really friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. Don't like my coffee super strong, and they recommended 1 less shot. The coffee was excellent and had no complaints.
Terrible atmosphere, attitude of staff is disgusting. Arrived at 7pm with 2 hours before closing yet the 2 particularly rude staff decided they were done for the day perhaps only being paid for hours worked would improve the service here. Definitely would avoid at all costs.
Ignored by staff, told that I had to collect my order from the counter 3 times. Once for coffee, Once for toasties(disgusting) and an 18 min wait for a cold drink. No one in the place, more concerned with the drive through. Dirty floor, dirty tables, fool of a manager, no customer service and rank food. Never again. Complained and got a buy 2 get one free voucher. No thanks. I wish I could leave 0 stars.
Went this morning on way to football. 1 medium and 1 small latte. Was charged over £10. Got one drink then was asked to park up in waiting bay. Staff brought drink out and was wrong one. Ended up having to go into shop to explain another 4 times that i was waiting on 1 small and 1 medium vanilla latte. 3 staff in and none of them could understand (God help a larger order). Then the fun bit, queried the £10 for two coffees. All 3 heads fell off. We dont know how much it should be. The 2 girls vanished and left it to young lad to sort. Poor lad had two tills on the go and couldnt manage to tap into either 1 medium and 1 small latte to tell me what the cost should be, nor did he think about looking at the menu and working it out. Waited 10 minutes before leaving in a hurry due to having to be somewhere having being ripped off for two coffees. Apologies if you go in today and have to wait due to lad still trying to work out cost of two coffees. I did tell him I was leaving but guessing he hasn’t noticed.
At a recent visit, we ordered two coffees and waited and waited and waited. After a further 12 minutes (I had started to time my wait) I asked our sever if there was a problem. She went over to colleague, spoke to them then turned her back me. I asked what was happening to which she turned and replied that we would be next and that there was a queue. Something I already knew, as I'd been waiting at the front of it for ages. As well as me, I could see others standing around getting
frustrated at their waiting time. It very much seemed that they were prioritising drive through customers. At that rate, we could have waited all afternoon for our two cups if coffee.
This place has not been open that long and to have such a steady stream of poor reviews, is not good.
This is basically your standard roadside Starbucks. Staff are friendly, seemed to be quite a few baristas in, probably as it’s early days.
One of the only options for vegan/dairy-free milk in Stanley as most other cafes don’t offer it and I have to bring my own milk.
Went here to do some work and use the charging outlets. The shop is new at the time of writing (March 2023) yet already the store is showing some signs of wear, such as the artwork on the left hand side of the shop peeling off slightly. Didn’t use the loos but they are there.
Staff didn’t know about filter coffees, which was a bit strange so rather than arguing I ordered a cappuccino! Which was nice anyway.
Ordered drinks on my app to collect. When I arrived at the store the door was locked. A member of staff came to the door and typed on his mobile that they were unable to serve drinks as their machines were broken. When I said I had already ordered online I was told to contact Starbucks for a refund. I have since contacted Starbucks via their website and twitter and I am yet to receive a response or a refund!
