Stopped by the airport Starbucks for a quick hot drink. Brilliant service from Afthab. Smily and friendly even at 6am, you can tell he has outstanding customers skills and he cares a great deal to be perfect about his work. Give him the recognition he deserves!
Service absolutely appalling. They had around 5 people serving but it took absolutely ages for a cup of tea and some hot water.
Still have it a three stars as it was clean, the drink was hot and there was a lot of choice of food.
Definitely not an option if you have 30 minutes until your flight
Nice place to sit before our flight! Nice drinks like usual at Starbucks!
The rude manager seemed far too concerned about having a chat with her colleague than actually bothering to serve customers. She saw me waiting at the till and continued to chat to her colleague and refused to acknowledge me waiting. Bizarre.
I'm sorry to post something like this about a Starbucks outlet in the UK. But I regret this purchase so badly. The five cheese toasty was soggy like microwaved instead of using a normal oven. The chai latte I bought was so thin and watery. The only taste I get is sugar! ???? ... Starbucks should get rid of this outlet! It's bad for their brand name. That £10.20 spent on the toasty and the regular size chai latte could have been spent better in another place, but I just walked into Starbucks because of the good experiences I've had with other outlets in the UK.
To the person who's supposed to pick up the garage bags from bins: I'm sorry for dumping a whole cup of warm drink...but there's no point in drinking something that has so much sugar with nothing else!
It was busy and messy with some kids spilling their drinks. Breakfast time with constant replenishment of food. Ines (yes, I remembered the name) was handling the situation exceptionally! She sorted crying kids, clean spills and managed the queue!
Rather nice coffee shop, however it would be better if more food would come with a plate - I had to eat my pastry out of the wrapper.
We Called in early Monday morning at 5.30am on route to Spain.
What can I say but a very disappointing experience.
No breakfast items, no pastries everything was bare counters looked a mess and worst of all no tea!!!
When I noticed a customer pushing in, I was shouted at by the mature lady behind the till, "she has already been served once, shes come back because of no tea" . I wasn't the only one to notice but three air hostess in front of me complained too.
There was not enough staff on to cope with the high volume of customers coming through and all were running around and you could see the stress in their faces.
Credit is due to the two ladies who were making the drinks and taking orders. The women on the till needs to learn some manners
Our drinks were ok. But we will not be returning to this Starbucks.
