My car broke down - luckily right near this Starbucks! Went in to ask for postcode of where I was and the baristas were really helpful.
I ordered a hot chocolate and it was delicious!
They were very welcoming and it was good they were having a chat we with me whilst I was waiting for recovery (as it wasn’t too busy at that time!)
Thank you to Elvis and Harry! I will stop in here again in the future when I haven’t broken down!
Quite literally the best Starbucks franchise I’ve ever been in. So clean and tidy in the restaurant and immaculate toilets (rare these days).
Staff are always helpful, cheerful and make the best coffee. Always consistent with the coffee ????????
I now make this place a regular stop.
Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful but there were alot of drink choices that were not in stock and every time we stop there it only has one or two customers. The worse thing is the layout and road markings to get in and out of the car park , very dangerous and badly designed and bad road markings too . It does not serve both directions.
Usually quite good here which is why I’ve put 2 stars but today was a bit of a let down. Two girls in there were chatting whilst a queue was building at the tills, yes they were making some drinks too but at a very slow pace and three customers who came in after me got their drinks before me whilst mine was half made on the side for a bit.
When I finally got the drink it tasted watery but had already got into the car and driven off before I tried it so didn’t take it back, but bit of a let down for a drink that was £5.75!
From a service perspective, could learn a lot from the Exeter Honiton Road Starbucks.
Very welcoming at 0630 am. Nice people. Clean and tidy. I will make this a regular stop.
Stopped off for a quick coffee after picking up my daughter from university & driving back home. Driven past multiple times, never stopped before. Unless desperate, never will again.
There was one poor lad running around trying to get everything done on his own. A reasonably large queue of people & he was just swamped. There was also a young girl who was probably going on a break when we arrived (she disappeared out the back door for a smoke I think). We had to wait for over 15 minutes just to order, as the poor lad couldn't be everywhere at once (I really felt for him, he was doing his best, but highly stressed). The whole place was grotty & in no way invited you to sit down and enjoy your coffee or food.
The girl came back, put her bib on & promptly did nothing ????????♂️????????♂️. After nearly half an hour, we got our coffee, hot chocolate & slice & left.
Great coffee as long as you put in an extra shot , this applies for black coffee. Can't comment on coffee with milk.
Reasonable range of food.
Cheap reusable white cups they do work very well as long as you have a cardboard holder to stop it melting your fingers .
Staff were helpful and pleasant ????
Just as we turned up they were just about to close. Toilets had broke and by the looks of things everything else was following. They still let us in and made us drinks (very much appreciated) hope their day improved.
