Best KPortal Reviews
Customer since they opened. The coffee just gets better every time. I'd say it's an 8 out of 10 for cleanliness as sometimes there's the occasional thing on the floor or table. But I have seen the staff cleaning. The staff are brilliant. Really helpful and professional. Great to talk with them. The cafe itself is modern and simplistic. The only really bad thing about Starbucks is the price. Most of their food is mediocre at best, it certainly doesn't deserve the ridiculously high prices. Friends have specifically stayed away from Starbucks just because of the pricing. I tend not to eat there, just get and enjoy my coffee with free syrup :)
Also, I tried the bag to go thing, where you get a bag of goodies at the end of the day. Cost £5.50 and I didn't eat anything from it. Not one bite. It was vegan rubbish. And the small cakes tasted dry / stale. (girlfriend tried one).
The cafe is disability friendly. All on the ground floor with accessible parking right outside the door, which is about two to three metres distance.
I have to admit, I'm a fan of Starbucks!. The level of service when I have visited these places is way above and what retail used to be like in this country. Always greeted with a smile, they are helpful when the only coffee you know is black or white. I ended up with a caramel and hazelnut latte with cream and stardust sprinkled on. And I had one sip and I said I'm coming back for more!. Best coffee on the market, no competition for me. The only down side I have is, I have been in 5 different Starbucks now in my travels and they are all absolute carbon copies of each other. I love the graphics on the led screens behind them with the drinks moving slowly. But put a bit of local culture in each one or mix it up a little with the paint. Other than that I can't honestly fault the service or the food and drinks, the cake pops and the brownie, chocolate chip cookie and crossaints are my favourite.
Do not usually visit Starbucks but only place en route to an event. Only had coffee (latte). As always, sweeter and weaker than my preferred coffee shops. Son had a white chocolate drink which he liked, however.
Came in at 6:30pm, Friendly staff, Perfect cup of coffee after work. Would be happy to visit again. As I am normally on the road quite a lot I usually have express coffees from machines. So nice to take time to sit in and relax.
