Having recently relocated to Broadstairs, I have had the pleasure of visiting your establishment three times already. During one of my visits, I had the delightful experience of being served by a young gentleman who exhibited exceptional politeness and attentiveness. His conduct surpassed expectations for someone of his age, and I was truly impressed by his outstanding behavior.
On March 1st, I had the pleasure of visiting your establishment once more, accompanied by my parents. During our visit, we were attended to by Jamie. I must commend Jamie for delivering exceptional service and for engaging us in a delightful conversation. The quality of the food surpassed our expectations, making our experience truly enjoyable. Thank you for consistently providing such wonderful service.
Unfortunately no chicken quarters are sold here which is strange as I usually would have this for my dietary requirements following an operation on my stomach.
Whilst queuing last night I was frustrated that people arriving after me were being served first because of them being regulars by a young lady behind the till. It left an unwelcome feeling to me and my wife which was a shame as the week before the young boy in there was brilliant!
Renting a place in Broadstairs and advised by the owner that these were the best Fish & Chips around. Covid-times; eating outside gets a little chilly so decided to order from here for free evening home delivery. Ordering by telephone was simple and our supper arrived at exactly the time stated - still hot!
These are the best Fish & Chips that I ever remember eating. The medium haddock was a decent size; delicious meaty fish with a perfectly crisp batter. ‘Proper’ chips too - crisp and not greasy. Mushy peas rounded it off perfectly.
The shop itself on the High Street is not as eye-catching as some of its competitors but it’s all about quality products cooked well. Would strongly recommend.
The cod fish was so hard n chewy I had to throw it out . No taste at all . Felt like it was just taken out from a frozen bag n then fried . For £7.50 absolutely terrible. The fish itself felt stale .
Visiting family and she recommended this fish and chip shop.
Was lovely we had the cod , haddock , sausage and scampi which was all freshly made. The chips were also a 10/10. Served by young lads
with great service as they were really busy.
Cod bites had hardly any cod but lots of batter. Medium cod, very small. Chips were like small crispy scraps. Tiny onion rings. Nice gherkins. Gravy nice. Staff were rather humourless. Reasonably priced but I think pay a bit more and go somewhere else.
Quick takeaway food, very reasonably priced.
The fish was a tad bit dry but the scampi was wonderful!
First visit to Broadstairs and fish and chips is always high on the list!
You will not be disappointed with this great chippy!
So good, I had to visit again before leaving for London!
