We moved to Tamerton a few years ago and started using Star as it was local to us. I have since moved away from Tamerton and continue to use them - they are extremely reliable, always helpful and very efficient. I have had recent problems with my car and Star had my car in the garage by 8am the next day, issue sorted by 10:30am, despite the fact that they were very busy. They are always honest, transparent and care about their customers. I really can't recommend them enough!
Wouldn't go anywhere else. They are amazing and always so helpful. I've been taking the car there for a while now for MOT & urgent work and can definitely 100% recommend. Even though they're usually quite busy, they'll find a way to help as much as they can.
After many failed attempts finding a reliable and helpful garage, I found Start garage on recommendation and have been using them for around 5 years now. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommended
Had my brakes done today thought I may need to have them all done but the garage told me only front. Good value and they are not going to rip you off. I'm using them again
I will not go to anyone else, professional, honest, reliable and friendly service, at good prices. Dave and his team are without a doubt the best garage i have ever used, i buy all of my cars from dave as does my husband and always go there for servicing and mot, they are always busy which is not surprising really. If you don't know your cam belt from your crankshaft go and see star garage he is the most honest and down to earth garage owner i know, i highly recommend Star Garage.
Great little garage, very pleased with the work done on my car. My usual garage failed my car in an MOT and wanted £550 to put it right. Star Garage did the work for £230 and my car passed the retest. Will definitely be using them from now on. Can't recommend enough.
Phoned up and was refused to be taken on for fixing my car as I haven’t been there for a while. Totally disgraceful service from this company. Obviously don’t want to help people out. Will never be using them again and will let everyone I know not to go there. Would have given minus 5 stars
Dave and his team have been looking after my cars, and those of my family for many years. I’ve lost count of the times they’ve taken my car in at short notice, even when they ‘re Very busy, when I’ve had a vehicle breakdown during one of my busy periods. I can’t recommend Star Garage enough.
