Was staying in Middlezoy for a break , so looked up local area where to visit for fish & chips ,we decided here after closest, Was just after 7pm ,a very polite young man served me ,We had a regular Fish & Chips between us was served in next to no time.Five mins drive back the food was still piping hot,but the shock was the size of the fish...it was huge compared to what we used to back home and lakes ,It was perfect ,most tastiest fish we have had in a long time and more than enough for 2 ,had perfect batter inside filled with layers of perfect cod flakes ,full of flavour with the squeeze of lemon just brought it out more ,chips cooked perfectly too and very tasty ..Wish we had taken a photo but forgot as we couldn't wait to eat .Definitely will be back when in the area again. Knocked the lakes off the top spot .. Thank you .
I’ve had food from star fish bar for more than two years and every time it’s been excellent. The chips are always cooked fresh and my favourite is the burgers! All the staff are friendly, especially the handsome boy at the front.
Jake is THE smiliest person behind a counter I’ve ever seen ???? ???????? & then I met an incredibly smiley customer , Adam ! I’m coming back to Somerset ! Great fish ‘ chips too , cooked fresh , delish ????
I specifically asked for freshly cooked chips as I could see that what was being served did not look great. When I got home the chips were cold, dried up and barely edible. When I rang to complain I was lied to. I strongly recons that you don’t buy here.
Brilliant fish and chips, great portion sizes, friendly staff. Never had a bad meal here!
Its a chip shop atmospheres not really applicable but locals are friendly and up a chat ..staff are young .polite and effiecent. Oh and the fish and chips are great but don.t tell everyone
First time getting food from here and it's the best chippy around , the fish was perfect nice n crispy batter , other establishments it's soggy and I throw the batter out, I ate the lot , didn't manage all my chips because the portions are huge, better to have a bit left over than still be hungry , would recommend to anyone
