Dunno what it is with This place but every time I ring for different jobs I need doing I always get fobbed off with an excuse of "it's a big job and we're quite busy at the moment" or "your better off trying this place etc etc" don't get why there is always an excuse to not take on the work I'm trying to book??? Soon as they Answer the phone they just can't wait to end the call. I really don't get it.
After being messed about at main dealers and not treated like a customer at other local miserable garages it makes a welcome change to get my car serviced by people that know what they are doing, are pleasant and charge very reasonable rates. They also call you back when it’s done and explain
with the replaced item why it had failed. Many thanks.
Great service from beginning to end, did exactly what they said they would and for a great price. I won't be taking my car anywhere else from now on.
Possibly the most unhelpful man I’ve come across. Walked in politely asking for some advice and help and all we got was an extremely rude shoulder shrug (what looked like a “what do you want me to do about it”) and then being told “well I can’t do anything for you”. Without any offer to have a quick look or even remotely offer a helping hand. Given the time of year and even current circumstances you’d think people would be kinder to one another. I was prepared to pay whatever was needed to even get any sort of help. Thankfully was just a quick stop by after googling the closest garage due to us facing some problems on our journey from Manchester to Newcastle, but extremely glad to say this wasnt our local garage.
Absolutely can't fault the mechanics! Took my Audi in with dual mass flywheel problem! Diagnosed and replaced within x2 days of inquiring,prices were fantastic and competitive,i would highly recommend as I won't be using any other garage but these guys!
Great garage. Took my car twice within the last week and stantons has sorted it out for me. I also get my mot done here and nothing is to much trouble. Very friendly and helpful people at Stantons. What brilliant service and great value..
Pulled in today as my steering started to make a funny noise and the car was difficult to steer. Me and my family were packed up and on our way to Liverpool to see family. Young lad was brilliant, came out and had a gander and said it could have been a couple of things. He said he was just going to go and get his boss to come out. I heard his boss just completely fob me off and told the lad " just tell him to go to a dealer as we cant fix it". Didnt even have the decency to come out and look. Left me and a car full of kids stranded. Didn't even tell me to top up the power steering fluid before I set off or I may damage the pump. Made it back to mytholmroyd and went to a garage who actually said he could fix it. No "dealer" needed as it was just a split pipe!!!!! Will never be back there, and won't promote them.
