Been recently twice for toothache on the same tooth. Both times given temporary fillings on different teeth to the painful one and 6 weeks until the next appointment. Latest temporary filling has all but fallen out and toothache not addressed.
2 visits. 2 temporary fillings. 0 proper fillings. 1 ongoing toothache.
If you use them, insist on an appointment long enough to do at least 1 job fully.
UPDATE: Following this review, I received a call from the practice the next day telling me my emergency appointment a couple of days later and my future appointments are cancelled and I'm no longer welcome there and I'm no longer on their books, despite requesting to speak to the practice manager.
My review above is factual and not an opinion.
My opinion is this is a shockingly bad dental practice, with their patients not their main concern. I believe this is evident in the other reviews I've read and discussions with other local patients of theirs.
Your Lack of empathy and your unprofessional responses to your patients says a lot about you. Instead of being keyboard warriors why don’t you see where you are going wrong and improve your services. On top of your lack of professionalism and arrogant attitude, you exaggerate things in your replies and give rude responses. I have never witnessed such ignorance from any practise. Majority of people that do not know each other cannot have the same opinion or reviews about your practise! Your service is appalling. Fix up!
Really bad will not be visiting again, they lack professionalism and expect you to go out your way to do everything, even when they clearly messed up. Receptionist who takes calls is emotionally erratic tries to tell you off as if she is your mother. Very aggressive and not understanding at all, started getting angry as I haven't been to a check up for a long time I explained I was at uni and she responded "that not our problem" then made it seem like she was doing me a massive favour by giving me a "second chance" this place needs to be shut down.
Talk to anyone in Stanford-Le-Hope and they will tell you how notorious this place is for rude, lazy and unprofessional service.
i wish i could leave less then 1 star but i cant so you are very lucky getting this one star. my son had an appointment which he could not go to as he has been up all night being sick, i called the dentist at 8:15 all the way till 9:20 past my son appointment time but the place was engaged and then i will on hold for over 25 mins, once someone picked up the phone i was told by the owned of the dentist my 16 year old son has now been removed from the books. this is the first time he has ever missed an appointment and it was because he was sick. the owner of the place is a very rude man and i hope everyone stay well clear of this place. there is a reason this place has bed reviews when you have a owner like him, he is a joke PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.
Was given their details for an emergency dentist appointment via 111, receptionist was so friendly and helpful but dentist was rude and arrogant. Had a go at me for going to an emergency appointment with severe toothache due to an infection and hold in my tooth. Was told I'd have to wait to see my normal dentist in 2 months time for treatment and I shouldn't be attending emergency appointments looking for treatment.
Extremely disappointed service
Just been to a local dentist for a second opinion as this dentist advised me I needed 4 fillings. After X-rays I have been advised I only need 2. Not only did this dental practice try to make me get more fillings than was necessary, they also tried to charge me £90 a filling when I am exempt (I am pregnant), as they advised it was ‘cosmetic’. The new practice is giving me white fillings for free which should always be the case. I’m so happy I went for a second opinion as I would have paid £360 if I didn’t do my research.
Yes you might only be the only NHS dentist in the area but you’re only able to keep providing this service as your conning people out of money for treatment they do not need!
Reply: I’m really not sure where this dental history has come from as I can assure you I have never had any broken teeth haha! But good try :) also, you have a strict no show policy which removes dental clients from the books if they do not turn up (you advised this to me when I called to book an appointment last year as I hadn’t seen the dentist in a few years & you wanted to let me know you have a waiting list for nhs customers so it was important I didn’t miss any appointments as I would need to find a new practice), so I’m really not sure where the missed appointments have come from. The only appointment I have missed was my most recent one as I realised you were trying to con me out of money and didn’t deserve for me to cancel it and therefore I didn’t care that I needed to find somewhere else to go. Unless you are looking at another Chelsea Harris records you are absolutely full of lies.

I was advised by 111 to contact this organisation for a dental appointment. Despite trying for days, they never pick up. voicemail ask you to leave your contact details with them as they will call back. I never received call back. Since leaving my number with them I am receiving all sorts of marketing calls. My advise when 111 refers to this organisation just flatly refuse to go there.
Worst dentist. staff rude and unhelpful. They are extremely lazy and unprofessional. It’s been 2 months and I still haven’t heard back from them for my mouthguard.
