Shop was quiet so I whent in and ordered chicken fillets and chips and the young lad behind the counter asked if I wanted salad &coleslaw to which I said yes then the woman behind the counter told him there were fillets ready and made him give me those with no salad or coleslaw, well the chips were hard and the fillets were still pink inside and as for the batteries was soggy, so this time I won't be back and I'm going to a better chippy inductance road
Would I come back here? Definite YES!!! We tried several things including the battered deep fried Mars bar and macaroni cheese deep fried. Everything was delicious! Staff were so so friendly. Thanks again to the lovely ladies for welcoming us tourists! Probably the best butter we have ever tried.
Was looking forward to having a fish supper after reading the reviews. But unfortunately, it was awful. How do you cook rock hard chips? Fish was dreadful so thin it was overcooked in the extremely crispy batter. Mac and cheese really artificial and king rib was ruined by the overcooked batter. Red pudding went in bin after one bite
4 fish suppers, bacon double burger supper and single fish.
Chips were delicious and everything made to order. Choose of Tartar sauce or Lemon with fish which was a nice touch.

More than overcooked, fish and chips, like broken pieces of China,you could do lots of damage to mouth and teeth. All fryer was concerned about was flitting.
