Just stopped for cod and small chips.
Chips fine. Batter grim and couldn’t eat what is usually my favourite part of a fish and chip tea.
Batter in all likelihood was heavier than the rest of the food.
Unfortunately other options in town will now be prioritised
They are really good chips. The fish was cooked well too. Good portions. The curry sauce was not brilliant. Proper sized battered sausages. Very happy and very full.
Went in here last night for one portion of fish and chips, nearly £10. The fish was a good size but the batter was thick, doughy and chewy. No crispness at all. Like cutting cardboard. I threw most of it away and won't be going back. Much better alternatives in MH.
Nice chips but the fish was like chewing on a piece of rubber.

We’ve recently moved into Harborough and thought we’d have a treat of fish and chips to save cooking.
Quite simply the worst fish and chips we have ever had. We ordered small portions but the fish was tiny, very dry and the batter soggy. It was hard to find amongst the huge quantity of very soggy chips. It seemed as though chips were added to make up for the small fish.
I very rarely post a review like this but at £33 you do expect better.
The burger meat was thin, tough & overcooked with a strange aftertaste, the cheese wasn’t melted, the bun was incredibly stale, and the salad wasn’t fresh. The chips were ok, but the unfriendly and frankly disinterested woman serving wouldn’t split a portion of chips. Not just eat, just avoid.
£5.99 for a small fish chips and peas now I know it's a small lunchtime special but this was appalling fish finger was more it. Very few chips not even good quality. Very disappointing. Go to kibworth chippy.
We just bought 4 portions of fish and chips. 3 for our family, 1 for the elderly neighbour. The worst fish and chips I've ever had, truly terrible. It's all in the bin, were gonna cook. Expensive mistake, shall never go back! Neighbour agrees, didn't eat hers either.
