Really lovely little church with a certainly unique tilt to the tower! There are diagrams inside showing the exact tilt to different parts of the tower, very interesting to see.
Beautifull little church had some wonderfull Weddings there and my nan and grandad are there now. Much love to them.

Always beautifully kept grounds and a lovely place to enjoy the peace. The photo is of the new coloured window which replaced the old clear glass unit above the entrance porch.
Set in the village of yapton this church is a wonderful mix of various phases of development, from the original Saxon tower (the bottom section anyway) to the later Norman additions and later still. Venture inside and see original timbers still supporting the roof or walk arou d the outside and look for the faded carvings around the blocked up priests doorway...
