I have visited this place many times and today had an excellent ploughman's lunch and a latte. There are some great handmade gifts ???? on offer. For example; I bought a soy candle made with essential oils, such a relaxing smell. Also a fabric sunglasses case. The staff are always busy. But make time to chat. It’s such a peaceful place and the open fire is very welcoming.
Wonderful place with such a character. The room we sat in had a fireplace too :) service was so slow though! Food was delicious, and decent coffee, can’t fault that aspect at all!
Lovely and friendly place. Great food and drinks. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Nice setting not far from Mount St Bernard's Abbey. Beautiful Leicestershire countryside all around. Well worth a visit. We hope to return again soon as we enjoyed it there so much. A real treat.
We booked a table for 4, for afternoon tea omg it's was delicious and very satisfying. We really enjoyed it. You can tell everything is made fresh in house. Thank you We will definitely be coming again, I need to try them cheers scones lol
My friend and I love coming here for lunch as the food offered is amazing with some beautiful and interesting taste combinations, eg today we had Taj Mahal (picture attached) - the flavour combo was exquisite. And the atmosphere is cosy, feels like sitting in Grandma's living room with the burning open fire. ???? Highly recommended.
What a gem this tea room is... stunning location. Food is fabulous, recommend the jacket spuds, very large with oven crisped skin and generous toppings. The staff are so friendly and efficient, doing a great job. Its busy on a weekend, but I will be back soon... highly recommended
This place is a hidden gem ???? warm served scones, great vegan choices, ♥???? Fresh made food to order. Lovely, friendly staff and on some days its best to book as too many people are finding out about this lovely place ????????❤ Outside seating under an event marquee as well as indoor seating. If it's chilly they light the real fire ????
Super kind people. There were no spots left so we asked to take sandwiches away, but they found us a nice little table, then moved us to a bigger one. Everything was superb and the toasties are so tasty! Highly recommended place. Also the craft shop is unmissable - affordable prices and really creative items.
