First time at the dentist since covid. So glad I chose St Helens, everyone is so kind and caring and every one smiles at you.
My treatment was fully explained and I was able to make my own choices. I wasn't made to feel bad for leaving it so long before seeing a dentist either.
I had a consultation one day and treatment the next day. My tooth was out in literally seconds with no fuss. Would not hesitate in recommending this dentist.
Always happy to come to the surgery. Had some dental work done and very happy with the outcome of treatment. Very friendly staff. Best dentist I’ve been to
Helen really is a 'saint' ... gentle, caring and cheerful, and explains every step of procedure ... totally cured my morbid fear of dentistry! x
I have recently had some treatment done at this surgery and I am so impressed. I am petrified of the dentist but I was reassured throughout the whole appointment. There is some waiting time but to be expected in a busy NHS surgery. All staff really friendly and approachable. Overall a really good experience. Thank you.
Wonderful practice!!! Would not want to go anywhere else. Dentist is excellent at explaining any procedures and is so knowledgeable. Nurses are so caring and compassionate. Thank you for all you are doing.
The best care and most well-explained treatment I’ve had at a dentist. And I’ve visited many dentists in my 54 years. The dentist and dental assistant were brilliant in terms of examination and explanation. Such a relief after 10 years of not being able to get a new NHS dentist since we moved. Clear treatment plan (under the NHS) and speedy action.
Not very impressed with this dentist..
Paid for whitening trays which don’t come cheap.. only to be told they don’t have any teeth whitening gel and don’t have any idea how long it might be before they get some. Wouldn’t be an issue if I could get it from other dentists (who all have it), however understandably other dentist aren’t willing to sell it to me unless I’m a patient with them. If I knew the dentist was going to have issues supplying the gel I would have gone else where to get my trays done..
Secondly I wasn’t impressed with the care I received when having a filling due to the dentist catching my lip with the drill which brought blood and took a week to heal. I was ok with this at the time as mistakes happen.. however after reading other reviews I can see other patients have commented on being hurt also due to her being in such a maniac rush. Will be searching high and low for a new dentist.
***update - kicked both me and my 2 year old off the records for leaving an honest review! Fine establishment. To be honest no dentist is better then this dentist!
This dentist is the reason I am scared of dentists. Rammed the needle so far into me and then made me wait in the waiting room for 25 mins whilst I was in agony, so she could see someone else. Never experienced pain from dentist needles until I went here.
