My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to register as NHS patients at this dental practice. We have had excellent treatment from both the dentist and hygienist. Every member of staff we have encountered has been polite, friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

The reception team were always nice. There's only one dentist there, who can come across blunt. I was a patient there for 4 years and missed one single appointment and they removed me. Even though they were completely aware I hadn't missed any others and it would take me an hour and 40 minutes drive to get there everytime
I explained it was the 1st anniversary of my father's death and it completely slipped my mind due to greif and being so upset. The receptionist kept me on the phone to tell the dentist and she said no, so there's no empathy.
Apart from the incident above I had teeth removed and a denture and was just sent on my way no advice or help on what to do. At the end of nearly each appointment she would say I'll see you in 6 months for a check up, in which I'd have to remind her other things needed to be done.
Took my son here as an emergency and the dentist tried to save his tooth with a filling. By the time we had finished the paperwork he was in absolute agony and it was obvious the tooth had gotten worse.
They could have turned us away to make a further emergency appointment but they didn’t. The dentist took him back in and efficiently removed his tooth - and the dental nurse was very comforting towards me as I got quite upset.
Cannot rate this practice highly enough (I once had a minor but difficult problem sorted out here by the same lady dentist). My son would have suffered all weekend if not for their willingness to do all they could to help us.
My only issue is that they can’t take new NHS patients at this time - I would sign up immediately - but that’s not their fault at all.
Wish I could give 0 stars. My partner was sent here as an emergency patient. He had 2 teeth that needed removing, the female dentist told him she could remove one and he'd need to make another appointment to have the other removed, seemed odd but okay. She then injected his mouth to numb the area, less than a minute later she's pulling on the tooth, my partner told her he can feel everything he wasn't numb yet, she said that wasn't her fault it was because he has an infection, he asked for more anesthetic or if she could wait for it to work properly, she said "no, and I don't want to remove it now" then the male that was in the reception area told him to get out because he asked her again to please remove the tooth when he was actually numb. Absolute joke.
Avoid at all costs. I managed to get myself and 2 young children in with this dental practice as I saw on the nhs website they were taking on new patients.
The receptionist was lovely when I rang and advised to call in to complete the paperwork. The next morning I went there with my 7 week old baby. I parked further up the street as parking is very limited.
I walked into the reception and the male practice manager was behind the perspex screen. I explained why I was there and he lifted up the mask (he was not wearing) from the desk and abruptly asked where mine was. I explained I was more than happy to wear one if they could provide it. There were no masks in the area and he ignored my request for one.
He provided me with the paperwork and asked me to stand outside to complete it as I was not wearing a mask. It was raining outside and there was another patient in the waiting area who was also not wearing a face mask.
I was that desperate for an nhs dentist I stood with my newborn baby to quickly fill in the form outside as we parked further down the street and the car seat was heavy. When I returned to the waiting room there were 2 additional people waiting and neither were wearing face coverings.
I confronted the practice manager on his behaviour towards me and pointed out not a single person was wearing a face mask. I completely respect their policy on this but they should provide them if this is the case. He was exceptionally rude and abrupt.
We had one appointment there and the dental nurse was lovely. Thankfully we have now got in elsewhere and will no longer need to deal with this practice.
Managed to get an emergency NHS appointment. Great service, called me beforehand to go through some things and take details for the dentist. Very pleasant nurse on reception and gave me so much information after my treatment. The dentist was quick and efficient and gave me two options to help relieve my pain and I decided to go with extraction. The whole visit was about 20 mins and I left feeling so much better after weeks of agony.
Had to have emergency appointment to have tooth removed. After reading reviews I was quite anxious about going, all that worry was for nothing. The dentist was very good and put me at ease straight away. Tooth extracted without any pain. The male nurse was so friendly and made sure I used the hand sanitiser at all times. Explained aftercare and to contact 111 if needed.
Took my other half for an emergency appointment yesterday. The staff were incredibly rude. They didn’t take any notice of what the issue was, and in fact we would have been better off not going. My partner was in there for 10 minutes at most. The solution to the problem was that something was put into the tooth and a cotton wool pad put over it. We weren’t told what was put in the tooth, how long to keep the pad on, what treatment was recommended. Can she take pain killers? Anti inflammatories? We weren’t told. It’s like we were an inconvenience to this dentist. Considering they are the only ones offering emergency appointments, they should show a little more compassion with their patients.
