Lovely little café what do really nice breakfast. Come here a lot as we go cycling most Saturdays and stop off at square one. the food is really nice and a lot to choose from and the staff are really nice and friendly too recommend to anyone ????
Walked in and left after a few minutes. First reason was because there wasn't really any vegan options so I couldn't eat there as I don't eat meat and can't have dairy.
The second is that for Hebden Bridge, this cafe just feels like a heartless chain cafe. It didn't feel like a homely, friendly, owners are proud of kind of place. It just felt like any old cafe chain
got a jacket potato and salad only to receive the smallest jacket potato i have ever seen, not only that but the skin was hard and so was the potato inside, it was quite unpleasant to eat. the other food on the menu looked nice and i do think i just got the worst pick out of the bunch. however for the price i’d expect better quality.
Not over impressed. The cafe is in a great location in the heart of Hebden Bridge. Prices for drinks seemed expensive at £2.20 per can of cola. They do food, but don’t do chips? This makes their menu rather limited as I do like a sandwich with a side of chips, but hey, crisps were a substitute. Breakfast served until 12 - why? Do the breakfast gods cast a spell on you if you eat breakfast after 12? The sausage seemed cheap and lacking flavour and I could have soled my shoe with their bacon. Will give the place a miss on future visits to Hebden Bridge as I think there will be better places to eat - sorry.
Lovely cafe, great location and some fab food make it a regular spot for me to watch the world go by over a ☕️

The food and tea was lovely and staff were friendly and polite but the experience was spoiled by a member of staff sweeping the wooden stairs directly at the side of our table whilst we were eating. Shame.
Edited to correct spelling mistake and reply to owners comment. Thank you for your reply. I'm well aware of the result of sweeping a surface. I'm always grateful to see clean premises but I would have thought creating airborne foreign bodies, feet from open food would be a basic no no in a good business. I did not mention it to the member of staff as I wouldn't want to interfere with her training as I thought this would have been one of the first things that would have been explained to her. Thank you for your reply.
Ordered 2 tea pots and two scones clotted cream and Jam. Only served us One small tea pot with 2 tea bags and a small pot of hot water. Maybe they should listen and serve two tea pots with addition tea pot of hot water per customer.. Toilet was cramped with a large waste bin next to it no lid half full of other people's waste products used paper towels and God knows what Covid is still about the wash basin was tiny . The rest room toilet had enough space maybe a refurbishment No atmosphere wish they had a cake hole cafe in Hebden Bridge
