Went from fantastic to terrible in the space of 30 minutes.Waitress was very welcoming and our starters were served very quickly. After our mains came the waitress didn't appear again.We weren't offered any more drinks or desserts and after waiting a while we had to find someone to pay our bill. Our original waitress was sat at the bar drinking....pig ignorant in my opinion and this spoilt our meal and visit.Wouldn't visit again or recommend.
Great food with large choice at reasonable prices. Attentive service, with a smile. Been on 2 different occasions, many months apart and both times there was nothing to fault. Will be back again.
A warm, friendly welcome. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much for us; we were a large awkward group and we were made to feel right at home. The carvery was delicious. A good selection of veg and meat. We will definitely be back!
Really nice & friendly the staff have time for you. 1st night on the site l got a steak done to perfection only challange was the peppercorn sauce was a tad over powering. I also popped in on Sunday but l didnt have the carvery only wanted a light snack, well they said they were fully booked but the staff did everything they could to fit me in. In the end l ordered a beef butty served with chips, gravy & side salad spot on with l had get the carvery ( will do next time). Really nice place to eat a big thumbs up to all the staff
Highly recommend!! We turned up with 10 people without pre booking and they squeezed us in. The food was great! Most of us got the carvery and the meats were so soft and tasty with unlimited veg. My son had a pizza and looked really good and he enjoyed it very much. The staff was all great, always checking if things were ok or if we needed more drinks ect. The toilets were spotless and smelt nice and free parking. Great meal, great staff and great service.
Fantastic venue, unbelievable food and service. Great for children having a play area and dog friendly too. Staff are very friendly too cannot do enough for you even looked after our dog whilst we went to get the carvery which was amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough and looking forward to our next visit already :)
Lovely friendly place fantastic food . Also stayed open for us because of holiday weekend . Really homely and nice setting too. Wanted to go in for years finally went in was not disappointed. Staff and service brilliant. Would go again.
Well what can I say. Food was OK nothing sparkling... The service though was something else. Drink order was taken by a young girl who I think was just nervous if not she could do with being taught how to deal with customers. We ate our food and then our plates were left stacked in front of me by another waitress whilst she went to the fetch the dessert menu. When she returned to take our dessert order she stood at our table chewing some meat as she was starving !! Very unprofessional. My husband and I finished our bought in desserts before our sons desserts arrived. And to top it all we watched the young waitress strip the table next to us. She took all the unused cutlery from the previous family and put it onto the chair seat whilst she changed the cloths and then put it back on the table. Very rough around the edges!!!
