I went there last two weeks for the first time as my husband has the prescribe for his heart treatment. The staff didn't focus on service much—no suggestions about how to take medicine or its side effects. I think they should do it better in their service career.
I paid for his medication £9.30 as I'm not eligible for free????
I am Blind, deaf (have one hearing aid in my only usable ear )& have no sense of balance unless i have my carer here am
Housebound . Was expecting my meds to be delivered on Friday but they never came so when my carer came on Monday i rang the pharmacy. They told me they had tried to deliver it but no one was home on friday ??
I was in all afternoon from 12.15 & my cleaner was at mine from 11.30 am . I asked if i could send my carer to pick up my meds & that was ok .
On returning my carer said the manager was so lacking in understanding my situation & was arrogant to a fault . The manager suggested that the driver maybe ran out of slips to say they had tried to deliver the meds ? Thats ok then eh . If my carer has left for the day as a blind man i cant actually see a slip & would not know one way or another . They did not post a slip at all & its debatable as to any delivery attempt so perhaps Spinks could put in place to phone those client’s involved especially vulnerable clients ? That aside the manager never offered any type apology , only that the driver maybe ran out of slips ? In other words seemingly not interested at all . Thanks
Use this as my local chemist for 20+ years now, the staff are always professional polite and willing to share their knowledge with you over any questions you may have. If they don’t stock what you need they will discuss the wait times for delivery or guide you to another chemist… 10/10 service every time.
Rude and aggressive manager 'Roger' told me that statistically everyone can where a mask showing no regard or awareness for people that have a mental health need and cannot wear a mask. I have entered the pharmacy on many occasions without a mask and exempt card but on this occasion I took a sip of water and it went down the wrong way so I coughed and the staffs anxiety went sky high that resulted in me asking to leave. Very unprofessional of them Ignorance about mental health needs of others for a place that is supposed to support health is pretty disgusting.
A handy little pharmacy situated conveniently on the site of the surgery. The staff are always very helpful. My one grouse is that I frequently seem to have to return to pick up items that initially are unavailable. A tad frustrating when you live at the other end of Beverley. I wish this problem could be addressed.
Kayleigh Russel - yes I am miserable when I have to keep coming to ask you to move your car out of a private car park, because you are too lazy to walk 100 yards to find a parking space.
The car park is for patients and customers, who are often old, or parents with young children and the ease and safety of the car park is for them , and not someone who happened to live near by who couldn’t be bothered to look for a parking space.
Everyone is so helpful and makes it seem as though nothing is too much trouble.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.
The guy roger who part owns this place is the most miserable guy I've ever seen. He's not at all approachable and like the previous reviewer states "has a chip on his shoulder!" He needs to step down off the pedestal, far too big for his boots! Horrible experience. Will never use this pharmacy again and will certainly tell my family and friends to avoid.
