Used to use spice cube most weekends, they were our 100% go too! Haven’t ordered from them for a year or so, and I don’t think I’ll bother again. Raw naan bread, food all slopped around in the bottom of the bag. Half the jalfrezi leaked out and gone onto the poppadoms so they were soggy. So so disappointed!
The quality of the food was mediocre. The naans were soggy and the food was cold. Chicken tikka masala is way too sweet. Saag paneer is partially cooked.
Aroma of India is a much superior restaurant.
Fantastic food here. Great portions and the food was amazing - so tasty - great Indian food. Delivery was great and driver lovely customer service. Ordered online which was so easy but also spoke with them - lovely staff here.
Excellent food and service. Been using Spice Cube for a while now. Great website that is easy to use. You can see you old orders and re-order saves lots of time. Always a discount on A Friday. We often order earlier and request a specific delivery time this normal arrives within a minute of the selected time and is always hot.
Ordered a takeaway for the first time from here via Just Eat. It took 2 hours to arrive and when it did eventually arrive, it was lukewarm and seriously watery. We had also ordered nuggets and chips from the English Dishes section for our son as he doesn't eat curry, and the nuggets came in a foil container covered in mushrooms, fried onions and tomatoes and all watery again too. So inevitably our son didn't want them because they were extremely soggy and tasted primarily of onions. Very bizarre. My husband found several hairs in his dinner too ???? Very poor I'm afraid. I looked at the hygiene rating after and noted they only have 3 stars, so note to self, to look at the ratings first in future! A big old waste of £30
Absolutely shocking service, waited 1.5 hrs for our food to find one meal missing. Called the restaurant to be told that there was nothing they could do, then to be told in half an hour the meal would be out to us. 40 minutes passed still no replacement, called back and told we had to wait till tomorrow, after a while I was told my food would come in 20 minutes. An hour later I still have no food. No intention of replacing my lost meal or offering a refund. Disgusting service and bad attitude. Will never use them again
This is by far my fave Indian takeaway I have spent lots of money with them and always
loved the food and I got many friends and family who love it too but lately the portions are a joke I will give and send a picture I mean we are all struggling at the moment so it isn’t a good all in same boat but when you
Are so buying 10.95£ a meal it’s just unbelievable sort it out but still
Yay spice cube we do love ya
Worst take away curryive had in years. Cold when it arrived an hour after ordering, the madras beared no resemblance to any madras ive ever had before, tasted like chicken in gravy. Got the kebab starter, 4 pieces of unknown meat that where like chewy rubber and some raw onion, and a portion of undercooked chips. Dog enjoyed it. Very paw.
