Lovely place to come and have a hot meal, coffee or cake with friends. I visited with my mom for lunch and we were not disappointed. Both of us had the half breakfast, which is by no means a small amount. We had our plates loaded up with all the usual items and a piece of the optional black pudding. The food was served hot and delicious. All the meat products are locally sourced from a butcher and are of a high quality. I also liked how you can get extra hot water to top up your teapot or have a free refill of filter coffee. We will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely first class food butchers sausage and middle bacon free range eggs , lightly buttered mushrooms and real butter. £8.95 might seem a little pricey but the quality is worth every penny. Definitely return when in the area.
We went into spats for breakfast. When arriving we wasn’t greeted and no seats available, having been in here before we knew upstairs had more seating so we asked if we could go up. Young new girl took our orders she was very polite and had excellent customer service, unfortunately this was let down by the lady with tats and one side shaved head. her attitude towards us was disgusting She clearly was stressed, didn’t want to be there and rather rude implying “they are all the same”when putting the wrong plate of food in front of me understandable if I had ordered that but twice she put the breakfast that wasn’t mine in front of me so of course I passed it over to who it should have been for, bare in mind when she said large breakfast the two lads said me please and she still placed them over the table in front of me and then made that comment when I passed them to the people who actually ordered the breakfast. A week later I saw the notice on the door about closing. Clearly she thought at the time we are closing anyway so why care for the customer service! Well you’ve lost me as a returning customer with attitude like that. Good luck
Lovely little traditional high street cafe. There are far too many glass fronted chain coffee shops in Droitwich selling the same over priced grilled paninis and ludicrously expensive filter coffee. If you fancy a traditional English breakfast in a nice quaint little place then choose Spats.
Only criticism was rubbish Wi-Fi.
First time today, popped in for lunch, my wife had lovely soup and bread roll, I had roast beef etc, Both were very tasty and reasonably priced. Will be back sometime soon. Thanks for the friendly service.
Fantastic breakfast. I'd definitely recommend Spats coffee house.
All the seats downstairs were reserved but they were very nice and offered to take the rope off the stairs so i could take my little boy up for his lunch. Food was good and he ate all of his and skme of mine. Very friendly staff and very helpful and accommodating of his needs. Will be going regular
Fantastic breakfast. Definitely will return.
