This place is okay for most things but waiting over a week for a prescription is ridiculous. The doctor put one in last Wednesday, didn’t even send it off, had trouble this morning. Finally had it approved by my own GP, only to find out the chemist doesn’t have my prescription. I now have to wait until tomorrow to find out if they have it ready.
They need to make sure they order more medication before they run out so they can keep giving out prescriptions.
Just started using them. Astonishingly efficient; I ordered controlled medicine on Sunday and it was delivered the next day! Much better than struggling over to Boots and waiting. Wish I knew of them earlier.
Sharing my experience for constructive feedback, learning opportunities and development. The customer service is the worst customer service I have ever had. I actually don’t have the words to describe how bad it is, some serious training is needed. The young girl on the front counter is the rudest lady I think I’ve ever met. She was so rude to me when I last went in, I couldn’t even speak. It doesn’t take much to say hello when a customer walks in and maybe smile. I walked in and she doesn’t even acknowledge you, she just glares at you. Its awful, God knows why she’s got a job working with the public when she has such bad social skills and clearly hates her job. I thought it was a one off and she was just having a bad day, but when I went in again, she behaved exactly the same. I did speak to someone last time I went in because she was so rude. The man I spoke to said “you’re not the first person to complain about her, we get this a lot”. He was actually nice and apologised, but also if this is a known issue, why hasn’t some much needed training been provided for her. Pharmacists here are rude as well, so impatience and unhelpful. I understand they are busy, as I work in the NHS myself, however the eye rolling and sighing just makes customers feel uncomfortable. The pharmacists here are completely unapproachable, which is sad because I don’t feel if I had an issue I needed to talk to a pharmacist about, I could talk to them as I feel like a burden just asking for my prescription. I just feel most employees at this pharmacist could do with some extra training around customer service and it might be good for them to understand how they make their customers feel.
Extremely rude staff who do not care about your health at all, they might be “efficient” but it’s more just getting you in and out, they don’t have time for any of their customers. Everytime I have been in there they are rude and cold, don’t answer basic pharmacy questions, never been to a pharmacy like it.
Showing as open until 11.30 today (23/12/23) but after going there, I see it's closed.
This now means it's not possible to collect prescriptions until after Christmas.
Not the first time going there to find it's closed when advertised as open
Been coming here regularly for at least 2 years.
I dont normally review places, I have better things to do. But I've been made to feel very looked after by the pharmacists here and this felt like the obvious way to express my gratitude.
I came here a week ago to pick up my elvanse during the shortage, and they understandably didnt have any. Got a new ADHD prescription sorted by my GP with a more available dosage, so I went back to the pharmacy. The prescription hadn't come through yet on their system, but they had some of my old dosage stored in the safe specifically for me, in case I came back, which wasnt even a guarantee as Id been looking in other pharmacies. 4 pills that they had found and bottled up for me. This was enough to keep me going until the new prescription came through.
When I came back to pick up my new prescription 4 days later, the counter had a queue but the pharmacist remembered my name and handed me my full prescription within 1 minute of me walking through the door. It was a lovely gesture and it really made my day (and month). It made all the difference in preventing me from getting amphetamine withdrawals, which would have really affected my ability to work.
Over the last 2 years, this team has never let me down and i'd highly recommend them.
Wonderful, helpful pharmacy. While waiting for my prescription I often overhear customers getting cross and impatient about things which are not the pharmacies fault at all! Eg: GP not sending over prescriptions yet, the customer arriving a week before the repeat prescription is due to be issued.. etc. The staff are always calm and patient, as I’ve noticed is the case in many pharmacies where it seems their job is 50% trying to explain things to rude and entitled “Karens”.. Anyway, I would like to say thank you to this pharmacy for the wonderful service I have received for several years - thank you for doing a great job! ????
Annoyingly they close for lunch which is the most convenient time for working people to collect perceptions ! Not indicated on the Google maps info so a wasted journey.
