A great Thai restaurant with yummy food for a reasonable cost - a refreshing combo for Geneva. Lovely friendly staff who are happy to help and who are quick to solve any problems. Our desserts were taking a long time to come and so to compensate the staff very kindly gave us extra desserts at no extra cost! Will definitely keep coming back here.
A friend and I had an overnight stop in Geneva and just happened to walk past this tiny restaurant. The smell when the door opened lured us in and we were not disappointed. The food was utterly delicious and the service fantastic . It’s very small and family run but had a lovely atmosphere . I would definately recommend for the freshest Thai flavours I’ve ever tasted .
So Si Ha is a gem. We had the special Royal Pad Thai (one chicken and one beef). It is magical. I have no idea how they manage to wrap the pad Thai in a thin egg batter! It was amazing. The homemade sauces and fresh lime were perfect for the dish. We also shared an appetizer of chicken satay that was flavorful and cooked to perfection. It all paired nicely with a house wine. The host was friendly and clearly takes pride in their kitchen. The venue is peaceful and welcoming - a great place for a slow meal and conversation. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
The food was delicious and very authentic. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. In addition to this, I like the atmosphere in the restaurant. So far this is definitely my favourite Thai restaurant in Geneva.
a small; but an exceptional Thai restaurant that I have not seen in Geneva since Patara in the Beau Rivage closed.
That said It is absolutely not grandiose, but who cares when the food is this authentic. Ironically if So Si Ha was in New York City there would be a line of people waiting for a table.
Since finding it i have returned (repeatedly), and every time the food is prepared exactly as well as before. The dishes are never oily nor over-seasoned and equally as impressive the staff is super nice, involved and willing to accommodate special orders.
This was our first time here but won’t be our last. We were welcomed and served charmingly. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious. We loved the red Thai curry and the chicken pad Thai especially. We also recommend the desserts- delicious! A little gem of a restaurant.
