First night, it was recommended to us by the lady who's b&b we were staying at. We had a great night, bar staff were friendly. Great atmosphere and great prices, too. Came back a 2nd night with family who live close by and use it regularly.
Lovely, welcoming pub. Bar staff excellent. It's exactly the pub we wanted to drop into at the start of our Morecambe weekend. It's brilliant, try it.
Fabulous! Gem of a pub. Lovely ales at good prices. We were there on a Sunday dinner time. Empty , so able to explore all areas and chat to the lady behind the bar. Will definately go back next time we visit Morecambe. Its hidden away but well worth seeking out. Keep up the good work , its a fabulous real ale pub that seems to cater for everyone.
This is what a pub should be like. Friendly staff and locals. Stumbled in on a Sunday when the quiz was going. Made to feel welcome off the bat. Drinks are affordable and the beer is well kept. A proper pub. 10/10.
Brilliant free house off the front in morecambe. Full of character and atmosphere. Friendly, fun locals up for chatting. Reasonably priced well kept ale. Highly recommended in morecambe ???? ????
Me and my wife have been to Morecamb for the past 3 years for a long weekend, and never miss the smugglers den, I think it is mainly a locals pub but you always feel welcome, proper old fashioned pub ( that's a complement) staff really good ,beer really good especially the stout not just a lager pub which you seem to be getting more of .so when you go to Morecamb deffo give it a try ????????
Chanced upon this place at the start of a recent coast to coast cycle and it won our pub of the trip award. Lovely little local with a live music session, great atmosphere and incredibly low prices!! Stayed all night and enjoyed their whiskey selection too. Would highly recommend.
Called in for a pint. Nice drinking pub, with an authentic feel.
