I was really excited to try Smokin' Grill this weekend, particularly the lamb as many halal burger restaurants don't seem to have many lamb options. I chose the Mexican lamb burger and was not disappointed! The meat itself was well cooked and seasoned, without competing with the toppings. The jalapeño, salsa, nacho, sour cream, and pineapple all complemented each other - it's obvious care was taken when crafting this menu. The portion size was very generous, and the burger itself was well assembled in a fresh brioche bun and didn't fall apart. To top it all off, the takeaway was stylishly presented in a recylable box.
25.12.21 I've eaten here a few times since my first review (at the restaurant and takeaway) and have tried a variety of dishes - it has always been 5*. Just adding a photo of last night's Mexican lamb burger which was simply incredible!
Excellent food and service. We tried lamb shawarma which came with fries, salad and naan bread. They also do burgers and steaks. For drinks we ordered Mocktails which were really nice (blueberry flavour ????????) Decor was lovely and has good atmosphere for families. There is plenty of parking
Amazing food, great ambience, and really nice staff. Doesn't feel like you're in clayhall. Will definitely be going back.
I wanted take away food, but dis not want fried chicken or fish and chips that are next door. Although a sit down restaurant, they kindly prepared the mains to go, and it has to be the best food I he had in ages.
We had the lamb shish with chips, and also the wings with tuce.

By far the best take away in the area.
For years now we've needed a take away / restaurant, locally, that you can actually get a decent meal, for a reasonably price.
This place ticks all the boxes for me.

This is not a review about their food as I have not eater there yet. Four or five times I bought ice cream there with my niece to take away in a small tub. I was there this week and asked for the same. The Asian man who usually serves us was very rude and said we don't serve ice-cream in a tub and it's double the price. I politely stated that I have taken ice-cream away in a small tub many times. The Asian was still rude and said he had never served ice cream in a tub. He was very impolite. Maybe he did not like my appearance? Or was prejudice?
pulled lamb dish very nice, have not had this anywhere else in this area. Nice drink too, although could be cheaper
Just received my Uber Eats delivery.
The classic burger did not have any cheese, jalapeños, onions or tomatoes - only lettuce and a very soggy bun!
I tried to contact the restaurant but there is no answer on the telephone number.
First and last time, what a fail.
