I've been using Smiths for three years now since moving nearby as it was important to me to support a local business.
Aside from that, they've proven to be able to service and repair a variety of vehicles, from MOT's to welding, - they have always done a "proper job".. No complaints at all..
I called for a mot on my scooter as I didn't realize it had run out. No problems he booked it in the same day brilliant chap. I will be using him again thanks very much Philip
We bought a motorhome with a full MOT
in July. This was the company who conducted the MOT. Yesterday, we had to be recovered by the RAC as we had brake fault whilst driving. (Scary and incredibly dangerous). We later discovered that the brakes were fully worn away. In addition, the wheel later fell off (whilst still attached to the hub and cylinder).
Upon advising the company of what had happened, we received no response and was also blocked.
It goes without saying, this is incredibly unprofessional. Both, the work that was initially carried out and their attitude and “customer service” now. We will be making a formal complaint.
Please be careful using this company.
