What a lovely place to get delicious hot & cold food. Just visited to get some fresh rolls. I've been many times for hot sandwiches, they are very tasty. The staff always are very friendly too! They sell a variety of sandwiches and meals and tasty buns too!! Well worth a visit!!
Grabbed some lunch, definitely would recommend! Cheese and coleslaw roll (massive, size of a side plate) salted caramel trifle in a pot, crisps and can of drink for £4.90 tasted great ????
A lovely little shop with parking, right next to the post office, they do cakes. Hot food to order served by lovely staff, handy for the cycling lot spaces for the bikes, will pop in again next time around.
Have had several visits to this friendly staff run bakery i have a meal in here once a week and never been disappointed all freshly made
I would have given 5 stars but I have deducted three because of one of the women who served us yesterday.
I ordered a burger, salad and chips. The salad came on the side so I put it with the burger. I asked for some tomato sauce and salt for the chips. I couldn’t eat all the chips because there were so many, they kept falling off the plate.
When it came to pay the bill and the lady came to pick up the plates, I was stopped in my tracks when she said to me “your eyes were bigger than your belly”! I was really embarrassed because she said it really loudly in front of all the other customers and I really didn’t know what to say. It’s the first time I have been in there and, of course, didn’t know her and vice versa.
In all the years and all the restaurants I have frequented, I have never had a comment like it and if she didn’t like it that I didn’t eat everything, then she should have kept her comment to herself. The meal was paid for so how much I ate was up to me.
What she didn’t know is that I have an underlying medical condition which isn’t visible, but I have to attend hospital three days a week and have to be very careful what I eat. I shouldn’t really eat any potatoes or chips unless I make them myself but I am allowed a treat now and again and I certainly didn’t feel that I owed her an explanation. My family wouldn’t dream of criticising me if I left some of a dinner and I wouldn’t expect anyone in a restaurant or bakery to speak to me the way she did. It was unnecessary, rude and very embarrassing, especially showing me up in front of other customers. Will I ever go back? Who knows.
You need to put correct times on this page. Came to your shop today at 8.20 and you were still closed. Waste of my time, so won’t be returning..
I pretty much dont want to tell you all how great the food is here as I like the fact its a best kept secret that this bakery smashes Greggs, the quality is so much better here and they are quicker at getting you your order. all in all very delicious indeed.
A great welcome here, food freshly made to order,and reasonly priced, eat inside or outside, also do takeaways. Brilliant.
