Absolutely nightmare with them . I am not sure why they have such good reviews but I hardly took car out of them A laugh really what a bad communication and costumer service . . No point going into details . There is a receptionist that has no clues about cars but goes on and on about trying to convince you she "knows ". Then when caught in lies she denies what she said ???? . The mechanics do not communicate with her and she makes things up. Is worst ever experience in UK . A laugh really - plenty places in Banbury where mechanics talk to you and explain you things .
My car went for a routine cam belt change. After 4.5 days it wasn't finished with no explanation. I decided to take it away. It wasn't running correctly so I took it to another garage. They found the crank and fuel pump timing had been done incorrectly. It's now okay. I don't think Smiffs have any trained mechanics.
Really fantastic garage. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Honest and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Really trustworthy

Whole family's been going here for years and they've always been good to us. Always fixed all my car issues, with my terrible car knowlage as a guide. A bit cheaper then average in price I reckon and friendly staff.
After getting my dates wrong on a mot I left myself 4 days to get one, smiffs got me booked in for the next day, took my car in that afternoon for the following day and they did it there and then to save me the hassle of coming back the following day, fantastic service and friendly staff.
