Shocking practice!!!! Went to the new practice in liscard Cherry Tree liscard way, to book an appointment. Questioned if i was paying customer or non paying. As a non paying customer was informed they where opening back up their practice on Poulton Road, and would have to go there for my appointment.DISCRIMINATION !!!from the rich to the poor.!! .I attended this appointment today.Again to leave and will not return.!!!
Non qualified dental practitioner,to minimal aquiptment and told to make a further appointment back up in liscard where they are qualified .He was rude !!! And abrupt,!!Equipment on trolley knocked over with all electrical on it,non sterilised after picking back up.
When I made another appointment I was told I would have to wait a further 3 months for treatment. Is this because I am a a non paying customer?? Only gave it one star as it wouldn't allow me to post otherwise I wouldn't have even rated this company.
I had an appointment in April 2022, checked my teeth. Told me the problems with them. But said it was emergency only and sent me away...without doing a thing. Holes in my teeth, broken teeth going black. Now they have gone fully private. Nice.
I'd agree with the majority who've given very bad reviews as this surgery doesn't even seem fit to offer a professional and caring emergency service. My experience was shocking to say the least. The dentist who treated me just wanted to rush through the process and get rid of me within 15 minutes even though I'm a very anxious person and was clearly distressed when he suggested a root canal. I proceeded with the treatment only to find that literally within 60 seconds of getting a very mild injection of anaesthesia into my gum he already had his drill out and was ready to go into the tooth when my mouth wasn't even numb yet. The pain was excruciating and forced me to almost jump out of the chair in pure agony and as soon as I lay down again about a minute later he dived straight in again with the drill and caused the same pain again. I was appalled at the treatment and asked for more anaesthesia and some time for it to take effect but at that point I was told that he did not have time to wait or drill any deeper so he applied a temp filling which has already become loose/painful within 2 weeks and I was told to ring the NHS emergency line if I got pain again. I understand the dental surgeries are all very busy at the moment but it's disgusting treating patients like this in extreme pain.
Before covid thy used to treat my teeth but when covid came around thy cancelled my appoints then after covid I went in to try and get a chipped teeth sorted thy just keep refusing me but some how mange to sort out my dads and brother teeth but no mine? anyway until thy start treating my teeth and start respecting me the one start will stay up. Update Thy call me into for a chat a month after I posted the review. Once I arrived and said my name thy responded with "I am now banned from coming in and will not sort out my teeth bum" The desk worker words I walked out speechless and angry not going to steeped another foot that place and contacted the NHS about this discrimination attitudes towards me for no reason.
Was sent here for an emergency appointment through the emergency dentist line.
They shaved the tooth down to take pressure off when biting. Did not fix the issue and I am still in pain. The dentist did not seem experienced and their equipment was not working correctly as the drills kept losing power.
The tooth needs root canal treatment and a new crown. Which they were not able to perform. They said there was not an abscess when there clearly is. As I have a lump on the gum.
I would not recommend. Complete waste of time. Avoid this dentist.
I couldn't sleep at night because of my toothache and when I called I found out that my record had been deleted. However, when I called for an appointment before, they reported that they only looked at emergency patients. and because my record was deleted, I couldn't get my emergency treatment. Why don't they notify people that their records have been deleted?
Brilliant dental practice, had a tooth extraction today. The dentist and his assistant were both really welcoming and considering I'd never had any dental treatment before, they made me feel very very calm. The dentist was so fast as well at removing my tooth. Made the whole process very safe feeling and not scary in the slightest. Think I might make this my main dentists and I'll be putting my kids there as well. Definitely recommend them.
I was referred for an emergency dentist appointment today as I couldn't get into any practise for difficulties with my wisdom tooth. The whole team from reception to dentist staff were lovely and welcoming. I'm a very anxious person when it comes to accessing healthcare but I was put at ease as soon as I walked through the door. The lady who conducted my exam was wonderful and a breath of fresh air compared to other dentists I've been to in the past. Thank you!
