The staff at The shop were extremely helpful and the choice of either smoked/ unsmoked bacon plus white or cheddar cheese was rare, it was lovely to have the choice and not just a given. The oatcakes were lovely. I wanted mine a bit crisper and the lady who runs it was more than accommodating with my requests lol. Would definitely recommend and will be returning again shortly. Price was reasonable too compared to a few other places I have tried. Lovely place, oatcakes and staff.
Amazing oatcakes! Love the cheese and sausage. We go every week. The staff are like family and can't do enough to cater for my son's strange request!
The lady who runs the oatcake shop is absolutely wonderful, she will go above and beyond to make the customers happy. All the staff there are lovely and the food is cooked to perfection. Never let me down this place, highly recommend. ????
Excellent service each time I go in from the manager to the weekend staff. I've tried alot of oatcakes throughout Stoke-on-Trent but these are by far the best. Proper traditional shop that's been modernised and updated perfectly.
Having been on the hunt for some time now to find my regular "go to' Oatcake shop, It's safe to say I've finally found it. It's clear to see from the minute I walked in and spoke with the chap that they care about what they're doing and they obviously appreciate a Quality filled Oatcake. Something which is severely lacking in Stoke these days.
The structure and texture of the oatcake was sublime. Crispy bits in all the right places, Crumbly melted Cheshire Cheese. Heaven.
The shop offer lots of options from Cheddar to Cheshire Cheese, Smoked bacon to back bacon.
I look forward to returning to try the Stackers and the Choc Chop Pikelets. This shop are doing gear things.
