Podiatrists and assistants managed my infected toe for 4 months. Great care and empathy.
I had amazing service at this walk in centre. My issue wasn't quite A&E level but was getting worse and needed attention quicker than I could have got into the doctors. I only waited about 10 minutes to be seen, luckily it was a quiet part of the day, and I was back out in my car 10 mins after that with antibiotics. They even dispensed the antibiotics I needed which I didn't expect. Absolutely brilliant. Also, polite, friendly and cheerful. Very grateful to have a service like this local to me. Thank you Slough Team.
Avoid this centre if you care about your health!!! Ignorance and lack of care for patients! My wife was in huge pain, with appointment made for 9a.m, waiting for 1 hour when she was the only patient in the waiting room. The lady doctor said she had to make some phone calls and laughing about. During consultation GP had fun with other colleagues who entered in the room while my wife was laid on the bed. Shame!
Took my 4year old son on Sunday morning with ear infection. The receptionist very pleasant - took my details asked to sit down. We were seen within 35 min even though the message on the screen said 1h20min waiting time. The doctor was the most caring and sympathetic I have seen in a very very long time. She was brilliant with my son. Confirmed what I was suspecting, gave us prescription for antibiotic and we were out .
I was also there myself few months ago with allergy reaction and they were all caring. Do not be put off by the negative comments. if you are unwell and it is urgent they will see you. Thank you so much for today's help.
Usually when I visit I do wait around about an hour or so which I don't really mind as it is a walk in facility. I think the receptionists are just plain rude and boring they need to perhaps be a little bit more friendly to customers and approachable instead of acting as though they are to busy... the nurses/doctors are great once you see them always find what's wrong with me but if I would advise something take your time once you're with them don't feel rushed! Lots of new improvements made such as new chairs, brighter feel to the place, number cards to give you an estimate of your place! Really good in that aspect doesn't go unnoticed! Just maybe give the receptionists training on being happy maybe?
Worst NHS experience ever!!
Made me wait for 4 hours without any reason just to change dressing.
They were not very busy which receptionist admitted even after an hour of my wait but probably there was a mistake at receptionist end as nurse was not even aware of me waiting so long.
After 4 hours of my wait when Nurse saw me, she said she could have done my dressing much earlier and I should have talked to receptionist if they were taking so long..
I was asking receptionist every half an hour after my first hour’s wait and every time she just asked me to wait, saying nurse will call me soon.
She didn’t even know my name but still was always acknowledging that I will be called soon..
So upset with their service and already worried as I will have to go there again in a couple of days.
Excellent service, arrived 930 with severe gum pain. I was seen within 20 minutes as it was an emergency. DR. Devon and her assistant Elizabeth were fantastic, very professional, friendly and sorted out my issues skillfully. I was very happy with the service and would recommend to anyone. They are great dentists and lead by example. I wish all dentists were like them (i have met many dentists in my lifetime and these two are by far the best in terms of knowledge and profesionnalism).
I arrived 0900 Friday 28 Feb. Parked right outside. Receptionist difficult to hear through screen but registered and waited 20 minutes. Saw very experienced Nurse for 10 mins. Then waited 10 mins for Doctor . Was out in less than 45 minutes. All good well done staff.
