Went today to find out I've been took off the register without being informed, (because I didn't go for a check up over covid when they were closed) and now I'm left in severe pain without a dentist. Absolute disgrace.
Absolutely horrific...left my son in complete agony for months.. and he has now had to have an emergency operation in hospital due to her negligence..left tooth half broken in his gum which caused an major infection.. stay away from these monsters..
We were patients when the practice first opened and found them grand. I don’t know what has happened, apart from covid in the last two + years, but receptionists puffing ecigs while you’re on the phone (you can hear it), dentists uniforms scruffy looking, no professionalism. Got check up appts for my 3 sons over a year ago and one needed treatment. Was told I wouldn’t get an appt for over 6 months for a filling. As such we changed practice and got an appointment for my son straight away. We have all since left Sliabh Mor as a result and moved to our new dentist, having all had 2 6 monthly appointments for check ups since we moved, so it’s not down to covid if other dentists are operating normally. Meanwhile I recieved a phone call last week offering me an appointment for my son……over a year from we had the check up mentioned earlier…..over a year! You cannot possibly expect people to wait over a year for treatment.
If I could give 0 I would, absolutely horrendous system for appointments and treatments, especially when dealing with them in connection to a child in severe discomfort, after consultation no call back with appointment as advised. When I contacted no appointment was offered until 2 weeks later, even in an emergency situation. Staff are quite rude, dry with no communication skills, would highly recommend avoiding this dentist, I will not be back with my daughter, as this was not the first negative experience or lack of communication in connection with this poor service.
The girl on reception was very rude on the phone. I was pleading for an appointment as I was in severe pain. I was basically told tough, I'll have to wait and she informed me I had an unpaid fine for an appointment they canceled.
3 rd time this dentist cancelled appointment on me. Twice no one informed me that appointment is cancelled and I turned up there and once they rang me 5 hrs before. If it would be me cancelling 5 hrs before they would put fine of £20/30 on me.
Receptionists up there are useless, definitely not gonna be back there!!!
Just thought I would write a review as I don't believe for a moment I would get a fair hearing from the rude inconsiderate young receptionist representing Sliabh Mor Dentist.
Having had a viral bug over the weekend I thought it best to phone Sliabh Mor Dental on the Monday.01st.July.2019 & let them know that I feel too ill to attend tomorrows appointment which is the first of three consecutive Tuesday appointments.
Well that didn't please the receptionist at all as she slammed a £20 charge on me for not ringing in 48 hours prior notice, the 24 hours was NOT good enough.
The amount of times I have been called by this Dentist whilst I was at work at less than 24 hours notice of changes to my scheduled appointment is I feel a better argument to put at them.
The quality score of your customer care today is at best a big fat ZERO although the star rating FORCES ME to enter a 1 x star just to enter this comment review.
I wonder how many customers you really lose each week (haemorrhaging unnoticed) from that type of attitude & behaviour from your front line desk. I am not impressed with your Sliabh Mor site, I was left feeling upset & disappointed.
Your attitude has caused me now to go seek out another Dental practice, something I hadn't planned to do today.
You are a local practice yet you treated me like I was garbage. Not good for a recommendation from me going forward.
I won't forget this experience any time soon.

Had rang as my son was in agony couldn't get an appointment until September. The dentist saw him and did nothing. Rang again Was told an antibiotic would be at the chemist, which it isn't. Now my son has a big swollen face. NOT HAPPY.!!!!!!.
