Meal was on the pricey side but portions & service were worth it. Nice, friendly welcome & service from both bar & restaurant staff. Will definitely visit again when in the area
Fantastic pub to visit whilst in Aviemore. Staff were brilliant. The shot menu is unbelievable. We tried several and all were great. Definitely recommend
Atmosphere, staff, regulars, ales, shots. Wednesday is jam night and a fine night it is. Bit of a tricky one to find if the upstairs is closed but don't let that put you off. It's a rare place and all the better for it.
Another great meal at the skiing doo. The scotch broth soup was tasty and the burgers are brilliant. Been a staple of the Aviemore scene for more than 30 years and is still consistently excellent. Helpful staff and dog friendly too ????
Our sort of place. Casual dining. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Busy place with bar downstairs. Good portions of delicious tasting food. Opted for Steak pie and veggie burger. Only issue that could be improved was the sticky tables. Good range of reasonable priced beers on menu.
Only stopped in for the bar, but was delighted to discover gluten free Caesar Augustus on tap.

A friend recommended we come here for steaks as he had a great experience recently. We had a rump and a sirloin, both washed down with a wheat beer and a local beer. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent, seasonal veg was delicious. Steaks brilliant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Menu caters for all but can only comment on the steaks we had. Will definitely be back. Thank you Skiing Doo.
Cute little place, nice selection of meals. Great portion sizes too. We hadn't booked, but were the last table of walk ins allowed, so they were fully booked on a Monday night.
Staff were pleasant and food came out quickly and piping hot.
