As always, a friendly, professional and very personal service delivered in comfortable surroundings. Reassuringly thorough eye examination followed by clear explanations of the results. I am a long standing customer and wouldn't now trust any other optician with my eye examination.
I was very pleased with the quality of service I received during my recent eye test. The examination was extremely thorough and everything was carefully explained. I have taken out an eye plan which is very cost effective.

I can warmly recommend Skelton as well as Loftus Optical for the lovely quality of personal optical care I have received there over the years. All members of staff are genuinely kind, patient and attentive and I have found it very beneficial to be on the promotional Eye Plan as it meant I was able to benefit from several good deals to renew and update my reading prescription which had deteriorated a lot during lockdown. I am particularly pleased with my new colourful, reactive, varifocal glasses which I can now keep on all day without having to change when the sun comes out. Being on the Eye Plan also means that my eye health is checked thoroughly with the Optiscan at each eye exam which is very reassuring to me as this exam can detect serious underlying issues. I am delighted by my new glasses and by the great service I received from John Prouse and his team.

A very thorough eye examination. Good monthly plan you can join too which helps spread costs over the year. Especially if you wear glasses all day every day!

Absolutely superb. Thorough examination of my eyes and my dog was allowed to come with me. I have their insurance plan which costs me £11 a month but I then get 20% off my glasses and there was an offer of buy and get one free. No hustle to have this and that at additional expense. Two pairs of glasses with coating and lenses thinned for the frame for £160. Well pleased with my purchase and they are posting them to me to save me a journey. I can call in anytime to have them adjusted if needs be. Lovely staff, friendly and welcoming.
