Can't rate this garage any higher than 5 stars or I would. He is honest and explains everything to you. This is my new go to garage in the future. No job is to big or to small. If you have a problem with you motor than this is the place to go.
Came to SJW via a recommendation and so glad I did.
Steve gets 5 star reviews here for a reason and all I can really do is echo the comments others have posted. Had two cars fixed here and absolutely great service. So glad to have found a reliable and trustworthy mechanic, you wont be charged for work not needed and for any work that is you will be quoted a very fair and clear price.
If you have a car issue, SJW should be your first port of call.
Steve looks after all my families cars and motorbikes, and has done so since 2010. Like most, I can't recommend him highly enough, he is honest, explains why he has done the work he has, always goes the extra mile, and his experience and knowledge to be able to fix anything with an engine on wheels is amazing.
To backup the last point made, I've just placed an inherited 1964 Ford Corsair (garaged for 33 years) into his capable hands for restoration. Top man, excellent service, I would highly recommend.
I needed a mechanic to fix my car and SJW was just perfect. I received high quality level of service, the price was reasonable and Steve went over and above to help. I will definitely recommend SJW, you get professional, friendly and high quality service. After walking into local garages around without any success of getting my car booked in, despite SJW's tight schedule, I managed to get appointment the next two days to take my car in. Steve thoroughly investigated the issue and once identified, he fixed it satisfactorily. The root cause of the issue was fixed rather than patching it up and photos were provided to show the work done.
I will choose SJW any time and will be staying as my preferred mechanic.
Steve has been great! He always finds time to fit me in, even if he is busy, and he sorts any problems I have quickly and efficiently. If you need a mechanic, Steve is your man!
Have used Steve several times ranging from my 2014 focus to a 1995 mr2. He offers excellent service at a good price and does a great job of explaining the reasons behind the various issues. Stand up guy and I'd recommend his garage to anyone
