I went to these guys for an issue with my vehicle, the 2 guys I met were really friendly and helpful and immediately looked at my vehicle and fixed the issue. Im so grateful I ended up at this garage. Check them out people. Definitely recommend them. Even gave me a key ring to use :)
Simon is a great guy, knowledgeable and aims to please. I recommend him all the time.
Simon is brilliant I would definitely recommend him. He is a very good mechanic and did a fantastic job on my car's gas system plus he doesn't charge the earth. An added bonus is his partner Claire had a burger van outside where you can get a tasty bacon bap and hot coffee ☺️
Fantastic family run business. My dad had been going here since I can remember so as soon as I started driving I have been going here (nearly 7 years!) Simon is a great guy that always does the best deals and is very genuine, would never rip you off or do jobs that you don't need. He would bend over backwards to help you out. I always come away happy and with my car in tip top condition.
Excellent, customer service with super quality work. I wouldn't take any of my car's anywhere else. There's also a bus stop right outside to get you where you need to be No 37, Simon will even look up the timings for you if needed.
Grand little tea van outside with great bacon sandwich and drinks, all locally sourced, all in all a great experience!
My sons car had an oil leak late at night on 5/8/21 whilst driving home. He stopped immediately and sought somewhere near and safe to leave it overnight. He parked it at the side of the forecourt of this garage.
The following morning my husband went to explain why the car was there and advised Simon that he would get it towed home ASAP. (Joseph left for work at 5am so couldn't go himself)
After work Joseph was then presented with a bill for £200 for the cleaning up of the oil. He thought this excessive and offered to pay £100.
I, Josephs mother, having seen the far from pristine forecourt with no drains in the vicinity then went in to see if I could reason with Simon.
Simon said in a bullying manner that he would go through the insurance route and threatened that he would call to the police if insurance details were not given.
I was in tears and reluctantly left Joseph to pay £200 on his credit card.
I feel that Joseph was ripped off and will not be recommending this garage to anyone in the future!
This is a family run business lead by very nice gentleman who is very honest and knowledgeable. Me and my family coming here for years because the warm and friendly customer care you can't get in high street garages. They do standard MOT tests for only £29.99. There is a nice waiting area with sofa in the office so you can sit and relax while they work on your car. Apart the MOT tests they can help you with pretty much anything you throw on them. If you had bad experience with the high street garages where they want to up sell you a lot of unnecessary work or expensive parts just give it a try here. I can't recommend them enough.
Simon is a fabulous mechanic and a great guy who will always help if he can. Totally recommend to anyone
