My friend and I came here for a late breakfast and were pleased to find out that they serve Cumberland sausage. Stating this on the menu gave us an idea that the food would be decent, which it was. You were allowed to swap out an item from the breakfast options and this was also stated on the menu which I thought was a great gesture and added to making us feel comfortable and looking forward to eating at the cafe. Service was very prompt (from ordering to being served our breakfast and paying) and the staff were very accommodating. I asked if they had any chilli sauce and they brought out 2 options. Extra points in my book! I think the price of breakfast is fair for the area and I would definitely recommend visiting this cafe.

The breakfast in the photo is their "Shirley Big Boy" which is their biggest Full English option. Coffee is extra. Total on 01/24 was £13.40.
Great local cafe for an English breakfast and many more popular traditional meals. I had a health-conscious mediteranean breakfast, which was very tasty. Good coffee and a welcoming atmosphere with prompt and efficient service.
Love the place, best halloumi burger I’ve ever had, honestly 10/10, only sad part they close at 2 but if they had closen later I would’ve bought another one ????
Friendly, helpful staff. A community atmosphere. Food is served fresh, hot, and very tasty. In addition, it's value for money. Children are welcomed here. The seating arrangements are flexible, so tables can be moved to accommodate the group size. A definite cafe worth visiting.

Very nice friendly staff, quick service, food came fast, nice proper cup of tea, hot chocolate was made with proper chocolate and not powder, nice size breakfast with no snotty eggs, would go again
Not just your usual cafe a top end very clean excellent staff top food at reasonable prices what more could you ask for I sagest you all give this place a try the gem of Shirley.
