I had a fantastic experience at Shinwari Darbar on Stratford Road Birmingham! The restaurant offers excellent food in a clean and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner's commitment to ensuring quality food shines through. I highly recommend Shinwari Darbar for a delightful dining experience!
This is new Afghani/peshawari food restaurant. Today I tried the famous chappal kebab, and it was good. Would not say the most delicious but good. Whenever I go to restaurants , the first thing I check is if the place stinks of cooking food and I am afraid this is no exception. It's typical of any peshawari chappal kebab restaurant I have visited.. once you go in, you come out smelling full of food stink,, which really puts me off. However it's not as bad as other restaurants I have visited, but the smell is still there.
The atmosphere is good, traditional sitting on the raised floor is available, with family partitioned section as well.
The service is good with he owner present and welcoming all their guests on their food tables with his unique style and smile, it's a nice touch.
Amezing place for real taste ????. I have tried several other places but Shinwari Darbar is best throughout the UK ???? for authentic taste and proper use of spice with lovely hospitality. Don't go anywhere else in Birmingham if you are looking for real taste ????
I recently had the pleasure of trying the amazing food at Shanwari Darbar, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I could really taste the authentic Shinwari flavors in every bite. I went in for takeaway, and not only was the food great, but the hospitality I received was top-notch. The owner is a very humble and kind person, which added to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to go back, and I'm looking forward to recommending this place to my dad, who's a big fan of traditional food.
MashaAllah beautiful food. Best lamb chops I've had. The mix grill is well worth the price at £17, and the flavours are unmatched. The owner himself was so welcoming and made sure we were happy with the food. 10/10 on the mix grill, and karahi . Chapli kebab and naan was also very tasty . Will definitely be returning soon.
We been to this place about 5 times we feel the service and food quality is going down and will not be going there again
Upon arrival we gave order straight to the chief and ask for a good karahi plus other dishes chief said don’t worry i make a really karahi but it was burnt, we reported it but they did not try to put things right so will not be having our custom anymore and will not recommend it to others
