Best KPortal Reviews

Rang last night with an order for the family for collection and was told it would be half an hour. Arrived at the restaurant to pick up and made payment. The waiter walked away and so eventually I asked where my food was before being told that the chef was out doing deliveries so hadnt even started cooking our order yet. Was told the chef would instead cook it and deliver it to us after he returned to the restaurant within 30 MORE minutes. A wasted trip. It didn't arrive for over another hour (i had called to cancel but was told it was on its way) and when it did finally arrive the driver laughed at our obvious disappointment with the service. He did promise £10 discount from our next order. However tonight upon placing my order that changed to 10%, he continued to haggle and barter rather than honouring our agreement and basically tried to get as much money from me as possible before I cancelled my order. £2 discount! No thanks. My parents and I were regular customers under the previous ownership for 30+ years so I am highly disappointed that I will not be going back.
One of the best experiences I've had the pleasure of experiencing in the North East.
I've been looking for a good Indian place for a while now, to no avail. I came across this place on Just-Eat and thought I'd try going in for a pleasant dining experience rather than a takeout. The food was amazing, the closest thing to a true Indian Cuisine experience I've ever had. The customer service was superb, with the waiter taking a keen interest in making my experience as pleasant as possible.
All in all, one of the best experiences I've had in the North East when it comes to Indian cuisine, would definitely recommend.
First time ordering from here, delivery was quick, food came nice and hot. There was something missing from the order but a quick phone call and that it was sorted and that was also delivered quick too. Friendly polite staff, Food was very nice. I'll Definitely be ordering from here again.
Worst meal we have had, asked for well done naan bread but got it very crispy, just like a packet of crisps, chicken very very tough also chips were still very hard, I can honestly say what a waste if money and would never use them again ????
Me and my partner used to go here all the time and now they have changed there chef and manage. We visited there tonight and the male server.was sexist, the food we ordered wasnt the food we recieved and when we complained about our food and the service the staff didnt care at all. They didnt offer anything for the crappy service. The management couldnt even be bothered to come see to his customers to see how he could keep us as customers. All they wanted was our money and for us to leave. Awful behaviour, will never ever go back.
I ordered a shera special kebab, with all the meats.
£9.95
What I got when I got home, was a kebab with kebab meat. Nothing else
When I rang up to tell them, I was told its the new menu.
If you are going to lie, make it a good one.
It's not very often I write a review but I was appalled by this place.  I ordered  chicken tikka,  sheek kebab and  madras sauce on the  side with a nan bread. Poppadoms came whilst I browsed the menu and realised the condiments for the poppadoms were a record £3.80!...the sheek Kebabs tasted unlike anything I have ever tasted, I took one mouthful, chewed, should I swallow?... disgusting!? spat it out in a napkin. I ate a tiny bit of the chicken tikka which wasn't even  mediocre. I had my fill from dipping the nan bread in the sauce. I was having a lovely time here in Newcastle as I'm from Birmingham, this really put a downer on me. When the bill arrived it was £1 more than what was written on receipt.....when I questioned this, the waiter said this was for the glass of tap water and that it's not up to him that I'm charged for it! I was absolutely disgusted that anyone could be that desperate for money.... ...horrible experience. They're not even Indian's. Giving Indian's a bad name.
Doesn't even deserve 1 star.
Ordered from just eat and paid by card, waited hours after expected delivery time. Rang the restaurant about x10 times with no answer.
Will be going down today for my refund.
Don't waste your time and money ordering from here. They'll just rip you off.
