Using my sons account to do a google review as had to have dental work done today. Filling and wisdom tooth removal and was extremely nervous and my dentist was very reassuring. Talking me through what would happen and was very calming. The process was much better than I imagined and it was all down to my dentist and his nurse and the way he treated me throughout. Can’t thank them enough. Always been extremely happy with this surgery. Great NHS service!
I have had a dental treatment and oral hygiene advice by the lovely dentist Dr Tarika Maher . My experience was wonderful! She had excellent communication skills, I was informed of what procedure came next at every step of the way and her hand was very gentle and precise .Her wealth of knowledge was amazing ! Her kind and careful approach was next to none . I would recommend Dr Tarika Maher to all of my friends and family and the practice is very lucky to have such an asset in the team! Thank you very much for all your care and support given on my visit .
Was a patient there for 10 plus years but unfortunately missed only one appointment and they kicked me out. They still had work to do on my teeth that was half done, left me not being able to get anywhere for years which left a slow decline in my teeth and one of them to fall out and now wear a denture. Most places is 3 times before they kick you but I just think the one time miss was a bit unreasonable as things happen.
I cannot fault the level of professionalism, care and service I’ve received from this dental surgery. I’ve put off dentist appointments for a number of years up until recently out of sheer nerves as I’ve had some not so great service in other practices in Stevenage. However, since I’ve been going here the last year or so all of my fears have evaporated. I was recently treated by Fatima and she has given me great advice and guidance with my teeth which will ensure I get further work done with them in the future. 5 stars :-)
Our experience at Shephall Dental Surgery has always been positive. We have been with this practice for many years. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, our dentist is Dr Tarika, she is kind and very professional. My husband is also a patient and had a massive fear of the dentist visit, however, he is so much better now with the care provided at Shephall. We get a text message inviting us to regular appointments and can call if we need one more urgently. Thank you

Tarika and Amelia were amazing! I had a tooth removed and the whole process was made less scary! It was calm, professional and fully informative! The tooth was ina difficult area to remove and I had no idea until the follow up appointment. I had no issues afterwards at all .Highly recommend.
I am utterly prettified of the dentist & have been all of my life, however my dentist at Shephall dental practice is a magician.
I needed a tooth removed urgently due to an infection & cyst my fabulous dentist & her equally fabulous assistant were so gentle & incredibly reassuring during every step of the procedure that the tooth was out before I had time to realise. I can’t thank them & the reception staff enough for their care & support not just today but on every visit to the dentist.
This is NHS dentistry at its finest. Many many thanks.
