We get delivery regular. Best homemade fish and chips in Town, and I've tried the lot, being a chef by profession. Nice light batter, not over powering the fish, and fresh fish always. Keep up the Good Work. ????????
Everything was undercooked, greasy and tasteless. Rubbish since kearen left. The batter was raw and spongey, don’t recommend.
Normally excellent, but my husbands just been in for 2 fishcakes, large chips, and large curry sauce. Unlike myself he didn't watch the woman that seved him, thinking she couldn't get this wrong. Got home and she's given him 2 bags of undercooked chips ????????♀️No one else was in there. We've just had a 4 hour journey home, I mean come on, how can you muck this up, we would have gone back, had we not just got changed. And he paid more than what it would be for 2 bags of raw chips. If its changed hands ,I'd give it a miss.
Ordered a large haddock and chips with mushy peas and a pot of curry sauce the fish was ok chips was very undercooked and mushy peas was horrible as was the curry sauce the sale of Sean's it has drastically gone downhill such a shame
Health risk. Should be closed down . Fish was sour, chips refried, peas not eatable. £16 spent and food throw in the bin.The person serving was sat on a food prep area on the phone no manners. Used to be so good.
Since being under new management this place has gone massively down hill, shocking service, got home to missing items, the peas were inedible. Fish batter soggy. Hopfully not many more people make the same mistake thinking it was still shauns cause it’s nothing like. Customer service non existent
I have no idea what's happened to the place, grub was always top notch, but todays was utter garbage. Stinking fish and mostly scabby dried up chips that looked like they'd been re cooked from yesterday. Dry, twisted and awful. Can't give zero stars for some reason but that's all the trash was wothy of.
since shaun sold it its nasty now curry was like indian hot curry my kid was upset i to couldnt eat it fishcake tasted funny not off back the new owners have messed it up by turning a english chippy that was not bad and turned it into hot rubbish thats one way to sink a chippy why buy it to mess it up so badly if we a paying good money we want good food not great just good i wouldnt feed it to the dogs inedible all went in the bin
