We had a really good meal here while visiting Sheffield. All the food was delicious. We only had time to get mains and they arrived very quickly. I am vegetarian and absolutely loved the veg madras and tarka daal - usually I find vegetable curries lacking, but not this one. All the staff were lovely. We would 100% come back.
Food and service were spot on. Staff were friendly and food was lovely.
Will definitely visit again when next in Sheffield.
Visited along with a group of friends for a graduation dinner - atrocious customer service!
A consistently rude demeanour from the waiter throughout the evening. To make matters worse, there was a discrepancy in the bill which when pointed out, resulted in us facing an uncooperative attitude and a blatant refusal to accept their mistake.
This spoiled our evening although the food was okay.

What an absolute horrible experience I have ever had in my life. We come from a land of such cuisine which is loved by people from all over the world. Not to exaggerate, other people had to jump in and stop the discrimination. Starting from the welcome, it was just forced. It felt like we made them do extra work by just visiting the restaurant. Then we couldn't get the seating of our choice even though the restaurant had one or two tables being served. Just got told that our group "won't fit" in that seating without even letting us try for ourselves. We made peace with it and went to order food but I think our presence made the servers uncomfortable and they just started to set the table awkwardly. We were still fine with it. Then comes the part one of our plates were getting cleared even after telling that we were still eating. Still understood the miscommunication. The second server who took our order just kept forcing food choices on us making us feel rushed to order food. The worst part is we had to ask for the bill in between our meals as the server was trying to explain to us, the cuisine that we have been eating and making in our homes for years and years and telling us their experience and how we were wrong about our food choices and knowledge. Unfortunately, the "nice" server was very knowledgeable and their experience of 43 years went down the drain when they lacked the basics of customer service. It was very unfortunate that the food got wasted and we just wasted our money, time and energy visiting this place. I belong to hospitality industry as well. Even though I don't have the experience of many many years still I posses the basic sense of customer service and politeness. Much appreciated the "hospitality" and I will make sure this experience reaches the right audience.
The food is great both in terms of taste and portions, the waiters are helpful and quick, the atmosphere is comfortable and non-pretentious. Been there 5-6 times so far, and I'll keep going.
