Just moved to Largs and was missing my regular Chinese delivery. So absolutely delighted to 'find' the Shanghai online.
The prawn toast was crispy, not oily and very tasty.
The Schezuan char sui was peppery and delicious and the thin noodles with onion and beansprouts were exactly what I wanted.
The price was more than fair and the delivery wS speedy. Thank you!!
If Iceland did Munchie boxes it would taste like this. Genuinely boring

Lovely food and great service, thank you. Please note it’s cash only here since last time I had something here so have cash ready to get a delivery or to pick up. Also salt and chilli machine boxes are great for sharing for a night in. Just be able to like spicy food haha.

First time ordering and very impressed. Tasty dishes that aren’t too salty or oily. Food comes in huge portions. They offered veggi options and gave us free spring rolls. Would recommend again

Absolutely fabulous, tasty food. After trying all the Chinese takeaway's in Largs, we settled on Shanghai and can testify to the excellent quality of their food. It always arrives on time as promised, piping hot and tasty. Lovely staff. Like most people, my wife & I have spent decades sticking to the same tried and tested dishes. The Shanghai has inspired us to experiment with other tastes, today the Chef's special Mushroom Surprise and Kung Po, both dishes were a revelation, absolutely delicious! Really has reawakened our joy of Chinese cuisine. Already looking forward to our next meal. Keep doing what your doing guys, we really appreciate and love your food and service.
Just had a beef curry with fried rice, one of the worst Chinese takeaways I have ever tasted.Tasteless curry with more onions than beef, egg fried rice was vile.
