Always used to buy from here as their chicken batter was.the best. But never again. Last time I got it I realised that the hair is still on the skin!!!! I let them off as thought maybe it was a one time thing. Today say thing! They do not clean their chicken. Never again.
Young lad needs to be sacked called to order he said they are closed 1 hour later they are still opened this is the second time he is doing this. He is a bad example if he is not the owner
If you want freshly made fried chicken this is the place to visit. Whenever I'm in the area, and fancy some fried chicken, this is the place I go to. They make the best fried chicken. Dare I say, better than KFC, in my opinion! Just a shame they are not on any of the online delivery platforms, such as Just Eat or Uber Eats, otherwise I would order regularly. I also recommend you try the doner meat with chilli sauce and salad.
Ordered a chicken burger and a cheese burger then I saw the chicken just came out fresh so ordered 2 piece of chicken only to get home and he had given me old oil filled chicken pieces when I even asked for the fresh one. The chicken burger was hard. The cheeseburger was OK. They don't do mayonnaise which is a disappointment too. Overall a very bad experience and I've been eating food from here for years. They have gone downhill drastically. This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience with shahjahan. Do not recommend to anyone anymore. ????
An option to go to, on a late night when most places are shut. Chips were below par, the fried chicken was good and the chicken fillet burger was okay. The mint sauce was the highlight.
The problem with this place, if you’re on foot and don’t have cash, they don’t take card. They charge 50p for a mayonnaise or chili sauce tub which is ridiculous. Beyond this, they reject putting sauces on your food which is standard for any take away.

Revisited here, what a let down. The mint sauce was watered down and the chicken and chips that’s usually good was definitely no where near to a decent standard. I’ll avoid for a while, I can only presume this is either due to change of staff or an off day? Nevertheless, not for me. ????
Small place , a few tables to eat in , mostly takeout good food.
It has its ups and downs. The kofta burger and lamb burger are really nice, I'd recommend them. They do a nice mint sauce. Food is always fresh. My latest experience wasn't the best however, I ordered hot wings and chips. Hot as in crispy fried hot wings but when I opened the box to my surprise there were wings fried and just completely drowned in hot sauce, if I wanted saucy wings I would've ordered the peri peri.
Below average food, chicken was cold and extremely dry. For fried chicken not sure how that's even possible. Doesn't accept card aswell. Will not be visiting this place again. A shame because I heard good things about this place but sadly my visit was far from it!
