Absolutely amazing beach! Even though we were there on a misty, windy, and rainy day, it was incredible. The scenery was stunningly beautiful, and, on this particular day, the waves were captivating with their raw natural power!
To get to the beach, you can park next to the cemetery and follow the footpath a few hundred yards north of the cemetery.
Very little parking for such a big beach. On the day we visited we saw someone surfing.
They way to the beach isn’t marked off so park on the beachside of the highway and walk through some gates…please close the gates behind you! )
Great beach , it is windy but very enjoyable.
Long, wide, almost entirely empty. Beautiful. Tad windy, sand has lots of fine seashells so wear something on your feet. Quite a trek from the main road so follow the advice from another reviewer about access from the cemetery.
One of my favourite beaches on Harris. The whitest sand, amazing shells in colours I've never seen before, clear water, and with mountains for a backdrop. And virtually deserted too!
Heavenly beach x Don't tell anyone how gorgeous it is, let them go to Luskentyre ????
Beautiful quiet
Please pick up any litter that you see especially fishing lines nets
Enjoy
Many thanks Russell sanders
Amazing expanse of white sandy beach and dunes. Hardly anyone there.
