Went in for a Sunday brunch and was amazed at how welcoming the staff were and they couldn’t do enough to help and nothing was a problem even with x2 very young children , couldn’t thank them enough. so very happy overall with the service not to mention the food portion sizes were great , drink choice great and all tasted good. Thank you for an amazing experience today.
Visited here for Breakfast on Sunday morning, found the decor and atmosphere really nice (especially the Leather Seats).
The place it clean and tidy and they had plenty of tables free which was great.
On the whole the food was quite good and seemed to be made from decent ingredients, but there are a few of areas they could improve on:
- Scrambled Egg was hard and over-cooked, the Hash browns were also over-cooked/greasy and the Eggs in my Wife's Egg Florentine were a bit undercooked. The rest of the food was good (sausage, Bacon, toast, etc.)
Service was efficient and friendly (although the Waitress did forget my Beans, my Cutlery and my Wife's Water, but this isn't the end of the World).
The overall price was pretty reasonable
Food was very average it was like mum had gone shopping in Iceland, had the ultimate platter and there wasn’t a thing on the plate that tasted homemade and not just come out of a freezer, very disappointed! The staff were friendly and pleasant with no issues at all with that side of things. The Poretti was a nice pint.
Excellent choice of breakfasts, all freshly cooked and nicely presented. Waffles are particularly good with bacon, sausage and maple syrup. Also, poached eggs are great.
Went to Crosby beach for the day and found this little gem of a place while looking for a cafe. Super friendly owner and staff, nice chilled vibe and the food is just fab. We ordered a baguette and fries and 3 small plates, followed by cake and cups of tea. The baguette was freshly baked, still warm and crispy, with plenty of filling… and the skin on fries were lovely. Small plates included Jollof rice, crisp chilli chicken strips and meatballs… The rice was lovely, not very spicy but well cooked, the meatballs were well seasoned and came in a tomato sauce with toasted bread for mopping up and the chicken strips were just to die for… soooo tasty!! We had carrot cake and New York cheesecake for desert and honestly, the food was divine. Would travel back from Leeds just for some more of that chicken!!! Great place to visit and not overpriced.
Popped in on Friday afternoon for a coffee, menu looked good so also ordered food and a beer. Food and service was excellent, can't wait to visit again.
There should be a 6 star rating for Sesay's.
We had 6 small (?) plates plus garlic bread for two of us. Not a morsel wasted. Every mouthful delicious. Well priced for the quality and quantity of food. Drinks also reasonably priced. Excellent.
Lovely atmosphere . Chilled music . Good service and cocktails were 2 for £10 .
Loved the jerk lamb chops with Jollof rice . Very tasty and spicy , delicious ????
