So thrilled to have a proper local chippy, especially one that does delivery! The staff are friendly and the food is good.
I'm pretty fussy with my chips, but the ones from selFISH are great - well cooked, soft on the inside with a very slight crisp on the outside, you don't feel like they're drenched in oil. The fish is also tasty and nicely battered.
Unfortunately I really can’t see how this has won an award for best fish and chip shop on the Wirral. We ordered 2 chips, 2 sausages, peas, gravy and curry sauce. Which was over £14. The chips were awful, wrapped so tight that they were mush, not sure what ‘special’ recipe is used here. Half of them were brown/black. The gravy was like thick gloop as was the curry and they had no flavour at all. Peas were ok but again, no flavour. The sausages used to be much better quality and now they are just standard chippy sausages. Disappointed and won’t be going back

The food was delicious and piping hot .There prices were amazing .Popped in Monday day time the shop was spotless and food freshly cooked. The lovely young lady who served me was so friendly polite and simply a lovely person wiping every thing down as the food was cooking. So we'll done to this fantastic amazing shop but mostly this assistant was 100th fantastic at her job whatca credit you arex

Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The food was beautifully cooked portions very generous and the staff really friendly. I will definitely be going here again. Best chippy I've visited on a very long time. Thank you to all who made mine n my mums fish and chip tea delicious.
Scampi scallops and chips...absolutely gorgeous... delivery quick. Scallops are huge lots of Scampi and proper tartar sauce...

Great local chippy. Good food, fast service and friendly staff. Prices are fair and decent portion sizes. Lots of choice and they do a great fruity curry sauce, a bit of a Wirral speciality ????
