The chips were nice, but the fish was all batter and not much actual fish inside.
Felt like a bit of a con really and the dogs ended up with a bowl of batter...
Visited the Sea View Fish & Chip shop in Ingoldmells. What lovely fresh food, such a professional warm welcome, & the refurbishment looks incredible. Can’t recommend highly enough. Definitely 5 stars for me.

Huge portion of fish and chips for 6 and a half quid. Cooked to order. Battered sausage was a bit mushy. Cleanliest looking establishment compared to its surroundings.
First and last time I will waste my money in this extremely poor establishment. lt was a quiet day. But the standard of food was rock bottom. I only had a large battered sausage and Chipperies. The chips were very cold and undercooked, along with the sausage being very greasy and cold with the batter falling in a river of grease. What a terrible effort they made. They have a great spot with big prices and poor standards.
Me and my other half popped in here for lunch on our holiday recently and without shadow of a doubt we found the best chippy in ingoldmells! Staff were friendly, really clean environment and food that was absolutely delicious. They certainly aren't shy with portions either. Lovely lunch say outside in the shade in the warm weather.perfect and Will definitely be back on our next visit down.
Drove all over Ingoldmells looking for some seaside fish and chips and everything was shut so we went for a walk down to the beach and found this little gem. Service was fast and efficient. Wrapped everything up twice as we had a long walk back and the food was amazing. Twice cooked chips were to die for and very well cooked haddock fish bites were some of the best I’ve ever eaten(restaurant level). We’re here for a week and unfortunately for my diet we will be going back again.
