Fantastic place for some unique drinks. Ideal for alcoholic gifts for discerning or adventurous drinkers. A great selection of beers for the enthusiast too. Knowledgeable and passionate guy in the shop to give advice.
Wine Experience Evening
My wife and I attended the above in November 2022. Not sure what to expect.
We enjoyed an entertaining and surprisingly engrossing evening. The wines were introduced by means of a guess the type and country quiz which was really edutaining.
An extensive Smorgasbord of local meats and cheeses was consumed midway to great relish.
As the wine flowed conversation with the other groups blossomed.
The only fly was the long walk to the Village.
Amazing butchers and deli selling vegetables, fruit, dairy, eggs, local honey… you name it!
High quality and family owned - highly recommend!
Also a great bakery on site and sometimes a fish stall
Wonderful complex of shops.
Excellent quality Steaks, beers and plenty of cakes!
We highly recommend Green Door for the superb buffet lunch they created for a birthday surprise.
Fantastic Paul Shum butchers, deli and veggies , not to mention Scrummies for local beers gins and the like and last but not least Green Door catering for cakes and much more. I cannot recommend this place enough absolutely amazing.
Love stopping buy at the butchers, whenever visiting. Amazing, also the french rose picked up, was great and as for the cake shop, a real must.
Great selection of unusual beers from excellent micro breweries. Also ciders and wines and some great gift ideas too.
