I took my friend here for her birthday.
We had afternoon tea for two and they pulled out all the stops for us it was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and home made we had finger sandwiches with crisps & cheese straws these home made they were so yummy.
Home made sausage rolls two different types both really good.
To top it all off there was a variety of cakes and home made scones with fresh double thick cream and strawberry jam. All with two pots of hot tea!
We couldn’t finish it so we took a doggy bag.
Can’t wait to go again.
Several visits to the cafe, the staff are always welcoming and attentive.
The new owners have made changes and the food is still great.
Love all the tempting cakes on display in the window(always tricky to walk past!)
The menu is good for both kids and adults. The breakfast is highly recommended, the pancakes always go down well with my daughter, the milkshakes always get a 10/10.
For a lighter option you can’t beat a latte and slice of cake.
The sausage rolls are amazing! A really good variety of flavours.
Very clean and bright, the outside area is always tidy and inviting.
Would recommend to all. It’s a great relaxed meeting place for friends & family to enjoy good food and coffee.
So after waiting 15 minutes and getting confirmation from the chef that the pancakes we wanted were indeed still available we sat down and waited a normal amount of time but then the waitress said “the chef found those annoying” or something to that regard when bringing us the pancakes, why are you telling your customers that the chef is unconvinced by them and there food requests when he specifically gave the OK to order it, definitely not something i would want my customers to know????. and then the food, the bacon was very fatty, chunky and cold we also ordered eggs that were also cold and extremely watery/runny… Now some people might like to chew on a cold fatty piece of meat but i prefer it crispy and edible. Overall ended up leaving without eating basically any of the food and left feeling like a nuisance due to the chefs comment and with an empty stomach, I would not recommend supporting this business as they clearly don’t care about customers and there experience/support. It’s a shame as the old owners took care of the place and did some nice food.
That's certainly one of the best coffee Lounge at Ross on Wye. The small breakfast indeed is quite big to me. Food is hot, and made with a sense of home. The cappuccino is just perfect. Staff there are friendly and always wear a smile on their faces. Absolutely a nice, clean, quiet and comfortable environment for a hearty meal with a sip of coffee there. Highly recommended and will definitely re-visit.
Lovely little tea rooms situated in a courtyard we stumbled upon it as we'd list our way , so glad we did .
Smashed avocado with poached eggs was delicious. Excellent menu for lunch. Staff very friendly .
Excellent food, very accommodating of our group of 6 adults, 2 kids on a Saturday lunchtime. Good value for money. Highly recommend the toasted bacon and brie sandwich!

What a great find, hidden away in a back alley, just off the main street. Super friendly staff, fabulous coffee and absolutely scrumptious food!
